  1. I would love to trade back with on of the 4th rounders to gain another pick or two. If so, NT for sure and possibly a 5-tech. I'm not drafting a corner for injury concerns. Horn an Jackson just need to stay freaking healthy.
  2. QB, TE, WR, OLB/Edge, RB, S--in that order.
  3. I have no problems with the 0 jersey. I DO have a problem with kickers wearing 90's digits however. It looks stupid and the reason I can't stand the college free-for-all jersey numbers. Historically saved for 300+ pound D-lineman and some 175 pound placekicker trots out wearing #99, smh. Still not a fan of LBs and DBs wearing single digits either.
  4. Tackling machine. Late round pick.
  5. The same, on and off, but I got 10 years on you if you started from the outset. I ghost the place for a while when it gets bad...and man does it get bad from time to time. Incarnation #4 for me.
  6. Please. That opens us up options to trade back if we choose to do so. Atlanta would be one of the only teams that could trade all the way up to the top 4. Everyone else is so far back it would cost them dearly.
  7. Smoke...upping the asking price. Things are more costly when thought unattainable.
  8. I'm taking Flowers, but he likely won't be there. I'm honestly taking the top TE at #39 and don't really care that it's not listed in the few positions in this particular mock scenario. The best four TEs are all top 40 prospects, so at least one will be there.
  9. Anderson and Williams are just on one year deals. Basically to help with the transition to a 3-4, which both of them have played in with prior teams. They will be playing end rather than DT.
  10. It wouldn't shock me if they ask Chinn to add more weight and become a permanent LB. I think we get too caught up in Jeremy "wasting" his talents as just a LB since he's got coverage ability. I mean, with Woods and Bell, the safety position is on lock down. Being just the big nickle is limiting Chinn, IMO.
  11. You pretty much hit the nail on the head, although I think Luvu and Smith could play inside or out. I'd rather keep Luvu inside (savvy veteran) and let the youngster Smith chase the QB.
  12. Tuttle can play across the line, but I want a hoss in the middle, he's not big enough. Also Tuttle is essentially just a two year stop-gap. McCall has the size, but can he play there? Roy can't play it-- he doesn't have the anchor. Dude got pushed around as a 3-tech. I'd rather have Brown slim down and play end.
  13. Outside of the obvious QB, with the other remaining, ugh...five picks I feel we need a NT, TE, RB, WR and (LB or FS). Gotta get the core offensive skill players to grow together. The nose tackle is imperative and either a ball-hawking FS or LB for the defense.
  14. Another 4th/5th round prospect. Sure hands and returns kicks too.
  15. A 4th/5th round prospect. Nose for the ball and a good tackler.
  16. We need ILBs unless we find a prospect on the outside too good to pass up. I'd like to develop Shaq's replacement now than try to do it the year he's released.
  17. I want either of these guys in the 3rd round. McBride has better balance and more of punisher. Brown, on the other hand, is more sudden and a bigger burst in the open field, but I'd take either.
  18. Perfect example, probably the best NT prospect in the draft and in the "prospects not talked about" thread.
  19. I would actually want him to put on some more weight and become a NT. Yes, I like him as a prospect and no, he's not a complete unknown. With the QB fever running amuck, I've about gave up on the draft this year. Maybe next year things will get back to normal.
  20. Unless he's a first rounder, he'll be 30 by his second deal. That's not old in QB years.
  21. The ACL is a lot more worrisome than his age. He's not 36-years old. It's rare to hit on a QB in the draft and even rarer they stay with their draft franchise their entire career. To that end, being a few years older isn't that big of a deal. It also means he's more experienced.
  22. The ACL is the only reason Hooker will likely not go in the first round. Hooker is a more complete QB than AR at this point.
