  1. Did the first 5 picks based off visits and based off the rumor #39 is a trade down option.
  2. Now If some team moves to #3 and then decides go all out and then move to #1, that would make more sense. The Cards have zero interest in the #1 pick.
  3. Question, why would the Cardinals move to #1?
  4. Missed out on C/G, swing tackle and RB. Perry sitting there at #93 was a no-brainer; I had to snag him even though I already drafted Tillman.
  5. The staff did a good job filling needs in FA in order to take BPA when the draft rolls around. I would still say: Tier 1: WR, TE and edge Tier 2: NT, ILB and RB Tier 3: CB, 5-Tech, swing tackle, C/G, FS
  6. What? A no QB thread? Anyway, I would not be opposed to Sanders, but LB is not a huge need right now after FA and especially not with our second pick. We need the best WR or edge guy remaining on the board with that pick. I would take an ILB with the #93 pick if one should fall between Campbell or Sewell. A guy I've mocked a good bit, Dorian Williams, has steadily moved up draft boards and is a late 3rd prospect. We have options there. Bumper Pool is a tackling machine and we could get him even later. We need offensive weapons and that edge guy to compliment or even potentially replace Burns. I'm still shocked nothing has gotten with him done to this point.
  7. Outside of the remote possibility that JSN slips to #39, the rest of the WRs are 3rd/4th round prospects. Odd that only one RB and no TEs were brought in. OL depth is likely UDFAs due to the lack of picks.
  8. I NEVER...EVER...want to have the #1 pick again. No, it doesn't have anything to do with a crappy season that caused it. That's actually tolerable compared to endless threads about exact same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
  9. Yup, but sad this got moved out of the main forum in abut 1.002034758948863 nanoseconds.
  10. Campbell. He's the dude. Sanders is overrated. Hopefully Jack is there in the 3rd for us because #39 is too high for him.
  11. More gives you flexibility. Right now we can't move up for a player we really like without giving up resources we don't have or giving up future picks. We have that late 4th, but there's not much purchasing power with that if we wanted to move up in the 3rd or 2nd rounds.
  12. I'd prefer more. Several teams are sitting with double digit draft picks. Maybe in 2025.
  13. All the QB talk has burnt me out. I'm just ready for the draft to be over at this point.
  14. Have a blessed one folks!
  15. That happens when you trade away most of your picks.
  16. Tuttle is too lite to play NT. That was my contention all along. Now we don't have to look fro a NT in the draft.
  17. All of them thus far are late round UFA types. Remember, we don't have another pick after round 5, so we have a lot of roster to fill with UDFAs. Also, can't really burn one of our 4 remaining picks (after QB) on a backup lineman despite needing a couple.
  18. We mainly have addressed the defense for a couple of years. It's time to concentrate on the offense. You want young skill players to grow together and while we have FAs pick ups this offseason at all of those spots, they are short-term solutions. We need 3-4 picks on the offensive side of the ball in the draft. Maybe Fitts trades back so we can get another pick or two to devote to the defense. If not, I'm fine with only one or two picks in the draft on D.
  19. So the plethora of bodies at one positions is inadequate, but just enough JAGs at other potions is fine? I'm not against drafting a corner, but we have guys for days there, just not ones folks here are high on apparently.
  20. JSN and Sanders are #39 targets. Mingo, Jones and Brents are 3rd-4th round targets. Pool is our late round guy. I have no idea about the OT.
  21. Bodied this one fellas. Traded back with Houston who took AR. I thought, well crap, he's the only reason I didn't go back to #4 initially, but since the Texans nabbed him let me go ahead and trade with Indy. The Colts took Stroud and left me with the QB we probably would have taken at #1 anyway. Got all positions of need and key depth. Books projects to a 3-4 End and Coburn is a true NT.
  22. The entire FA D-front are rentals. Yes, we have players there this year, but I don't want to start a bunch of rookies in 2024. D. Williams, Anderson, R. Williams--our project DEs are all on one year deals. Tuttle is basically a two-year and I honestly don't like the fit at NT. Roy sucks and is on his last year. McCall has another year, but an unknown and we have not locked up Brown, who is in his final year. Funny how we sign some seat-warming pedestrian FAs for our D-line and everyone wants to gloss over it in the draft.
