  1. Yep, even in a STs/reserve role I think he has an impact.
  2. First season only in '95 was played in Clemson. We played '96 in Charlotte. That coin was from the '98 opener.
  3. It wasn't the logo but the name itself that was objectionable. I figure as long as the depiction of the elderly Indian isn't the logo they could even use the old feather logo too, just with a 'W' encircled instead of an 'R', if they went with Warriors. Chiefs stadium is literally Arrowhead stadium, Atlanta still uses the Braves in baseball and FSU uses the Seminoles name. Referencing Indians in sports isn't offensive to most as long as it's done with integrity. I get were Redskins was the most offensive nickname is sports, but it doesn't mean that DC should have to steer 100% away from Indian theme.
  4. How about Warriors? It fits DC and is a nod to the old nickname. They could even use the old 70's spear logo.
  5. I'm not worried about the Falcons this year and I disagree the are going to be hunting for a wildcard. The problem I have is I think this is Ridder's lone shot to prove he's a legit NFL QB (which he's not). So Atlanta without a legit QB, with all these supporting weapons, is going to do poorly enough to land a legit QB in the draft next year. If the Falcons indeed land a franchise QB in next year's draft, that team will be something to contend with. Tampa is treading water is desperately trying to avoid the inevitable rebuild. Rebuild inbound. The Saints are the Saints and every year try to keep that championship hope alive while trying to avoid the the cap/talent purge. They will be good enough to vie for a playoff spot, but will not make any noise even if they manage to make the postseason.
  6. Good, dude seems like a distraction anywhere he goes. Better the Titans locker room than ours. Next one to dodge is Clowney. After that, if we need to sign another FA (for a reasonable price) I'm good with it.
  7. Yup, he was my draft crush, but as the draft grew nearly, the talking heads well nearly in lockstep that Ickey would be the first tackle off the board. Some great of stroke of luck he fell to us.
  8. ESPN has sucked for years. The only time I catch it is in bars and restaurants when I'm captive to the whatever they have on their TVs. I have not watched anything on ESPN in a long time other than actual sporting events and the NFL draft. Sports Center and the talking head shows all are horrible. Kinda like SNL, it had it's heyday when it was actually great entertainment, but it's hard to watch anymore.
  9. They used to love it in NC too, but now philly cheese steaks and grinders have taken their place. Needs to called Char-lanta now.
  10. Totally awesome video! To re-sign Bozeman or not this offsseason didn't move the needle for me one way or the other, but he seems like a really down-to-earth kind of dude, so now I'm glad we did. Dude is now a millionaire and brought to tears by being gifted his uncle's old beat up pickup truck. Heartwarming to say the least.
  11. Yup, he listed all playoff QBs on his wish list. Dude wants a ring and we aren't there yet.
  12. Looks like Mays and BC are getting the first reps at guard. I wasn't sure BC would be healthy enough yet and also wasn't sure if he was getting moved back to tackle.
  13. Hopefully we get some sense of the pecking order, especially among the DL and LBs.
  14. His size says DE and yes, we need more help there.
  15. The last 7 in will be camp bodies. Only signing(s) of note will be after cuts before regular season...if any then. Either that or if a significant camp injury occurs and we have to sign a unsigned veteran.
  16. The Falcons and they have been from the jump. They have our number and until we can turn the tide, it can't be disputed. We had the Saints number mostly and even when they had Brees, they still didn't dominate us save a few seasons. The Bucs typically suck outside of a few years in the newly formed NCFS and the past few years with Brady, otherwise, no issues with them. Atlanta has been a consistent thorn in our side since 1995 even when we are good and they are bad, we still have a hard time sweeping them. The series is completely lopsided in their favor and it would take a decade of domination in the series by the Panthers to get it back to respectable.
  17. Nope, but the official website updated the roster with the UDFAs though. Oddly enough, the new LBs have their 3-4 designation, but the veterans are still assigned to the 4-3 spots. Two of thirteen said signed UDFAs after the draft are not showing though, LBs Austin Ajiake and Travez Moore.
  18. I was pretty close on this one. Young Zavala Mingo OLB FS with last pick
  19. Can't hurt to have a swing tackle whose best side is left. BC would be the swing tackle choice, but he's coming off injury, thus Irvin for a year. Smart move.
  20. I wanted to draft Borghi late last year. I think he ended up going undrafted.
  21. YGM for Simmons straight up.
  22. Bud Light field, because..you know, the turf.
  23. Furthermore, I said some kid from Southern Illinois was going to be just as good, if not better than Simmons, and we should take him in the 2nd round.
  24. Yes I do. I was firmly in the Brown camp and got some serious sh!t for it. Even more so after a lackluster rookie season. Alas, all is well and Brown is now showing why we drafted him in the top 10...yes a DT in the top 10.
