  1. McCord is my dark horse for best QB in this class. He would be a day 3 in an average draft class, but since this one is particularly bad, he could go as high as the 2nd round. So much so, I've given up on a day 3 flyer pick for him because he won't be there.
  2. Watson and Tucker can swap out their professional services contact lists.
  3. Yes, but you can find better production for what he was getting paid. Dudes on minimum contract can do better.
  4. The last time I told Ian Thomas to get steppin', the Panthers gave him a brand new contract.
  5. Oh no, not the second round! The poor kid will cursed.
  6. I like a different Higgins, WR Higgins out of Iowa Sate if we can't grab T-Mac in round 1.
  7. T-Mac's NFL comp strikes as Mike Evans, but a more agile and 'loose' version.
  8. Hey, at least opposing RBs have to run around him rather than straight up the gut.
  9. It does show that "retreads" are not all that bad. It depends who the retread is. If for whatever reason Canales doesn't work out, there will be people writing off any dude with previous HC experience outright, which is stupid.
  10. Eh, it depends if he's any good or not depending on how the conversation is framed around Bryce Young.
  11. So it isn't going to happen with the Sanders 'crew' being Raiders, but all the signs were pointing that way. It's the Raiders saying no thanks, but the the Sanders family definitely was interested.
  12. How did y'all miss Ray? Nearly dead last--131 of 132.
  13. Why doesn't Evero like the prototypical 3-4 NT? You know, the 330+ pounder in the mold of a Sumo wrestler.
  14. I suspect he's put it all together in year 4 to get a new contract.
  15. You see, if the ball is thrown underhanded and hits him in the jersey with lined with velcro and the defender falls down, his YAC potential is through the roof!
  16. A dare say a RB coming off an ACL injury is at higher risk than a LB to re-injure the knee due to cutting, shifting, stutter stepping etc... That bore itself out. I get the shoulder surgeries with Wilson, but he was/is healthy and had dropped to the point where the risk was worth the selection. If he had a clean medical, Wilson would have been a late first rounder.
  17. I've barked up that tree regarding Brooks and Wilson. It's hypocritical to take guys off your board/severely downgraded them due to past injuries (currently healthy) only to draft another player who was actively rehabbing from injury. Our front office is so damn incompetent. I like Morgan, but dude HAS TO do better this time around or he can go hang out with his buddy Scott Fitterer.
  18. But they blocked him from interviewing for the Bears HC vacancy? Oh well, I guess he'll get that interview opportunity after all just days later. Strange how Jerry Jones works.
  19. McMillan and Franklin weren't first rounders. Apples to apples, Ladd looks better. While, yes, he went at the top of second round #34 overall, when we moved up--XL, Coleman and McConkey were the choices and we took XL. The move up wasn't the main problem, the player that was the rawest of the three that we drafted was my gripe.
  20. Armanti Edwards finished up his college eligiblity? Lol! His name immediately popped into my head when you said that. I'm not sure if that was the intended reference, but yeah, pretty spot on.
