I wasn't going to respond, but the fact that you're now lying leaves me no choice. Please point to where I said ANYTHING about the COVID-19 being a hoax?

Meh, I have better things to do with my time than argue with some boomer who spends his entire day on an Internet message board.
-
So saying I heard rumors on social media somehow makes me some wild crazy conspiracy theorist? You even said yourself that "suspected" COVID-19 deaths will be listed as COVID-19 related fatalities, which actually proves my point that the number of deaths could be misleading. I've actually provided some proof to back up my argument. You, however, just posted gifs. I tried to be cool with you and just agree to disagree, but you were having none of it. Says a lot about your character. No wonder you get dunked on all the time by those tinderbox boys. Rightfully so. Have a good one.

Come on dude, I'm not one of those "duh gubbermint" nutjobs claiming this is some "diabolical conspiracy theory." I'm just a little suspicious about our death toll, that's all. Agree to disagree.
-
Not every death will have an investigation like this one, bro, but it proves that this "conspiracy theory" has some footing. There's also some doctor out of Minnesota, Dr. Scott Jensen, that went on a news show recently and said that the Minnesota Department of Health asked him to list COVID-19 as the cause of death on the death certificate even if the patient was never tested or never tested positive for the virus. There's some truth to this, dude.

From CNN, A 17-year-old dude died in California, his death was listed as COVID-19. After an investigation, it was determined his death was actually caused by septic shock, and now his death has been removed from the COVID-19 fatality list. Still tinfoil hat worthy? This has already happened. Whose to say it hasn't happened elsewhere?

Nerds? Bro, have you looked in the mirror?

Really? That causes for a tin-foil hat gif? Wait, are saying that China hiding their real number of deaths is the conspiracy theory or that hospitals maybe putting down COD is COVID-19 when it really isn't?
-
China does, but they're hiding their real death numbers from the rest of the world. But I've also heard rumors from social media that hospitals are marking non-Corona related deaths as Corona related deaths. Something about the more deaths they have the more federal aid they'll receive. Something like that. Wouldn't surprise me.

Any adult should always have a stash of Tums somewhere in their house in case the dreaded heartburn kicks in.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I wonder if some people think they have the coronavirus but they actually are just suffering from seasonal allergies? Pollen levels are very high right now.

I see this thread getting moved very soon.

It was the setting with the most pressure.

I don't get why everyone is rushing to places like Wal-Mart and Costco to get their supplies. Those places have been ransacked, at least in major cities. My folks were at our local Wal-Mart earlier and it wasn't too bad. I decided to think outside the box and went to a small town where I live. Basically in the middle of nowhere. All they have is one Family Dollar. Went in, barely anyone there and they had everything I needed. In-and-out. I did have to buy toilet paper since everyone is hoarding it. Who knows how long before all stores are out? Might take weeks to restock. One thing I've found that works in case I run out. Handheld shower head on massage. Cleans it right up then shower normally

I was just outside and saw in the distance two helicopters...military. Not a reassuring thing to witness during a massive virus pandemic. Hopefully they're just training in case of the worst. Or do the higher-ups know something we don't?

I would not want my kid to play for this guy. He just showed everyone how irresponsible he is. Like you said, he's their coach, it's his responsibility to protect those players and he failed them. He willingly surrounded himself around those kids knowing he had symptoms and put them all at risk for this illness. Not just those kids, but everyone they've come into contact with beforehand. I can only imagine how pissed off their parents are. This may be enough to have him fired. That might be a bit extreme, though. But possibly justified.

Just saw the video on Twitter. Definitely a selfish thing to do. Could you imagine if someone's grandma was there then later got sick and died from the virus? He would have blood on his hands.

Once the weather gets warmer, the number of cases should go down. Look at Hong Kong, only 121 cases and 2 deaths. It's fairly warm there now. The same with Singapore. 178 cases, zero deaths. Australia, 127 cases and just 3-deaths. Brazil, just 52 cases and no deaths and they have a population of 209 million. The warmer regions are taking a less of an impact from this virus. It's getting warmer where I live, so hopefully that's good news for us.

Pray for the best, prepare for the worst.

A person in my town is quarantined at our local hospital who's suspected of having the virus. Small town so people are starting to freak out a bit but I'm prepared. I have my respiratory filter masks, gloves, goggles, disinfectant spray, hand soap & sanitizer along with plenty of rice, water & beans. Not worried about toilet paper. I'll say within a month or so, this will all blow over and everything will go back to normal. At least I hope. Good luck & be safe, friends.
