To be fair, I do believe we are testing more than most, and we still don't know what China's real death toll is.
-
Doofus? DOOFUS? Are you serious, bro? I'm OFFENDED. Consider yourself CANCELLED, buddy.
-
Man, Trump has really messed you up. That old dude always on your mind.

What's your beef with Mike's Hard Lemonade? Yeah, it's a girly drink, but the black cherry one isn't too bad.

Ask electro, he's the one that made that claim about the 75% number, not me. Secondly, you're going to call me out for calling him a dork, but going to ignore him when he said "Whether or not you can think two moves ahead and understand this" which implies I'm slow. He gets a pass, right? And what facts was I trying to pass off in my argument? Everything I said was based on my own personal opinion. I wasn't trying to pass anything off as "facts."

I'm glad I made you laugh But if masks were as significant as these studies claim, then my county would be getting rekted right now, but instead, we've only had a little over 100 cases and just two deaths in 3-months. Agree to disagree and move on dude.

Unemployment benefits aren't supposed to last forever. The lockdown was lifted, so it's time to get back to work. If they didn't, then well, you probably won't have a job to come back to. No one was forced, quit being dramatic. If they didn't like it, then go apply in some warehouse where it will be safer. And like you just said, there's a report that masks decrease transmission by 75%, so wear a mask, some gloves and practice social distancing. It sounds to me, they just wanted free money for not doing anything. And what in the world is "cosplaying sartre's quote about fascists?" You're a weird dude. Must be one of those dorks that scream FASCISTS at everyone they don't like lol
-
So wait, they were getting unemployment benefits while being employed? Why?
-
Forced? Yeah, no one was forced to do anything.

Here's what I don't get, this crybaby is getting all upset because I may go to the gym or out to eat, or get a haircut, but it wasn't my decision to open up. But they are, and they need my business more than ever. If I, or anyone for that matter, doesn't try to support our local businesses, who were affected by this shutdown, then they will eventually go under, which means millions more will lose their job, their livelihood. Dude getting mad because I want to support my local businesses to keep them afloat, so they can support themselves and their families. Madness.

And like I said, if they're wearing a mask, but then go on to touch the door down the freezer aisle which is riddled with germs, then go on to touch their debit card, their phone, then wearing a mask becomes pointless. They're still spreading their germs and potentially the virus. I don't do any of those things. I take more precautions than most, except wearing a mask because the straps hurt my ears.
-
Wearing a mask isn't going to do a darn thing if you don't keep your hands clean and you're really mad right now lol.
-
Cry more Oh, and I will, get mad.

What an absolute lie. I NEVER said people aren't dying anymore. But in MY state, something you keep ignoring, we did in fact record zero deaths a few days ago. But I then followed it up by saying we did have a few deaths the past couple of days. And yet again, I never said "whatever man I'm just going to do what I want anyway." Quit lying. I keep my hands clean constantly, I cover my mouth when needed and I practice social distancing. I do my part, more than most.

"Pile of bodies in the corner." My county has had two deaths in almost 3-months, but alright.

I'm going to tell you the same thing I tell everyone else who wants to argue with me about this. If you're worried about the virus, then stay your butt home. No one is forcing you to leave your house. Several states are opening up and many more will follow whether you like it or not. Memorial Day weekend is coming up, I'm heading to the lake to enjoy myself. You can stay home and obsess over this virus some more.
-
Thousands aren't dying every day anymore and my state had zero COVID-19 deaths a few days ago. But had single digits the past two days. The virus isn't going anywhere but will be less of an impact in the summer. Are we suppose to keep everything closed indefinitely? Is everyone suppose to put their lives on hold indefinitely? If you're a high-risk candidate to catch the virus, then stay home.

I wasn't referring to the entire country, just my state in particular. We're basically almost normal now. You can eat outside at restaurants, barbers, salons, gyms are all open. The malls are open and most department stores. State officials will wait and see how things go from here and if there isn't a second wave, they will probably start allowing dine-in services and most everything else. We'll have to learn to live with the virus. Take the Sweden approach, herd immunity and whatnot. Sunlight kills the virus so things will start to calm down for now. But once October rolls around again, then things will get interesting. People aren't going to go full lockdown again. But like I previously said, boost your immune system, keep your hands clean and cover your mouth.

Goodness, politics controls so many of your guys' lives, it's crazy. The sun will rise tomorrow. On a side note, a Twitch streamer I follow made a funny & interesting theory. The people who are DEMANDING that I wear a mask aren't doing it because they care about safety, but because they want to feel superior to others by telling them what to do. Many of which are middle-aged white women aka Karen's. They haven't been able to speak to any managers within the last few months, so they're out telling others to wear their mask or snitching on people & businesses. Pretty funny stuff. But on another side note, people who wear masks aren't doing much if they're don't keep their hands clean. Walking around Walmart wearing a mask then touching your buggy, opening freezer aisle doors, grabbing things off shelves, touching the keypads at checkout, then going on to touch your phone, your car door, steering wheel, blinker, radio, etc. Then going home to touch your cabinet doors, fridge door, remote, etc. A mask becomes pointless. Then you have the people who wear gloves but then keep those gloves on after leaving the store rather than discarding them as soon as they walk out. Probably the same type of person who drives around wearing a mask despite being in the car alone. I don't wear a mask anymore, but I clean my buggy before using, I grab the lower part of the door in the freezer aisle being that it's less likely to have been touched, never taking food from the front, but in the back, not touching my face nor phone, keeping my debit card in my front pocket, use my knuckles for my pin #, and as soon as I walk out I clean my hands, put my groceries in the car, clean my hands again, go home, put my groceries up, clean the countertop, wash my hands again, and then disinfect my debit card. Been doing that for two months and have had no issues. Keeping your hands clean is much, much more important than wearing a mask. I'm doing my part.

A little over 100 cases and just two deaths in my county. Could you imagine losing your business that you built from the ground up over those numbers? Talk about heartbreaking. I'm just glad we finally opened up. I'll try to do my best to support any local businesses that made it through the lockdown, especially my favorite Chinese restaurant. One thing I do find interesting about where I live, almost no one where's a mask, except for the elderly, and yet, we have some of the lowest numbers in the state. Keep your hands clean, cover your mouth, stock up on vitamin D, C & zinc, and you should be fine. I say by mid June, we should be 100% back to normal, assuming there isn't a second wave.

Are you saying the virus will make a return for this year's flu season? Surely by then we will have a vaccine. There's also the treatment doctors are using now that's doing well. Like a 98% success rate.
-
Watch out, you'll be labeled a crazy conspiracy theorist with that kind of talk.
-
Maybe, maybe not. No one really knows, hence it's a theory. You said it yourself, doctors are overworked and are prone to make mistakes, so it's very likely this could be happening all over especially in places like New York and Louisiana. And then you factor in people dying from suspected COVID-19 but weren't tested, but will be recorded as a COVID-19 related death. What if it wasn't COVID-19? No doubt this virus is legit and killing thousands, but it's possible many of the recorded deaths aren't related to the virus. That's all I'm saying. But let's be real here, everyone wears a tinfoil hat. You're going to tell me there isn't at least one conspiracy theory you believe in? Do you believe China is truthfully telling us their real death numbers? No one believes them, but it's still considered a conspiracy theory. What about Epstein? Do you honestly believe he killed himself? EVERYONE believes he was murdered and I'm sure you do too. And that's still labeled as a conspiracy theory. We're all conspiracy theorists if you want to get technical.
