  1. Progress. I want to see he has made the necessary adjustments in coaching and the team to be better. That's more than 9 wins. I still don't understand all the hate for Rhule. His first season he had little to no off-season due to COVID. Last year we had a QB that had 17 turnovers in 12 games and we lacked our best player for the vast majority of the season. If you think another coach would have come in here and taken this team to the playoffs then I think that's crazy.
  2. We have as many guys from Western Michigan as we do Baylor. One of the Temple guys just signed a 3 year, $45 million dollar contract with another team. You are going to bring people in that you are familiar with and who understand your system. I think the idea that he's willing to turn down a better player at a position just so he can bring in someone from a school he once coached is silly.
  3. Why do we think there is a poor culture? I haven't heard a lot of "anonymous sources" coming out saying bad things about Rhule. I think the problem is we have a really young team, poor quarterback play, and a below average offensive line. That's a good recipe for losing. I feel like we have an owner / front office / coach that are at least trying to address those things. I think you have poor culture when the players don't think the front office is doing everything they can to win. I know I'm in the minority here but I don't fully understand all of the hate for Rhule and Tepper. Two years ago everyone seemed to understand we were entering a rebuilding phase. Guys we have traded for are mainly young, high upside players. We played in 8 one possession games last year. We won two of those. Last year we had the fourth youngest team in the league behind the Jets, Lions, and Browns. We lost our best player (who has only played in 10 games in the past two seasons) and have had poor quarterback play (the most important position in sports). They are at least trying to fix what appears to be a large part of the problem. Regardless of how the Watson potential trade works out, I see an owner who seems to be willing to do whatever it takes to win. I hope we lose this Watson bidding war because I don't think we are just one player away but I also like an owner and GM who are "in on every deal" or at least exploring every deal. We don't have culture problem, we have a winning problem. That can be fixed with the right player(s). My $0.02.
  4. Which is why someone is going to draft Hamilton in the top 10...maybe top 5.
  5. No doubt. I agree 100%. I'm just saying if you don't think the guys that play those positions are high level I think you go with someone who you think is a lock for the next 10 years. Plug, play, not worry about that position for 10 years. Hopefully, there is one of those top 3 tackles on the board and this is a moot discussion.
  6. I don't necessarily disagree but someone is about to draft Kyle Hamilton in the top 10 in just over a month. My point is you look for All-Pro level players that will be with your team for the next 10 years. Problem is, it's so difficult to do that, each year there are major busts in the top 10.
  7. Really? The same year Kalil was drafted the #6 pick was LaRon Landry with Washington. I would rather have had Kalil than Landry. In the top 10 the goals it to pick a player that can be All Pro at their position.
  8. He's one of the most likable people, ever.
