And we don’t have the capital to pull of a big trade Best case scenario is a one year rental of Garrapolo or stick with Darnold. We could trade back twice in the first and still pick in the teens. There will be a QB there if they want one. And we could draft quality interior lineman in rounds 2/3 with the acquired picks the only splash money should be spent on the tackle from the Saints. They can’t keep him. And he will be chasing a big payday

And even those ALWAYS have little question marks. Look at the QBs picked in the #1 spot over the last decade….. lawrence, burrow, Murray, mayfield, Goff, Winston, Luck, Newton How many didn’t have question marks?

Gotta respectfully disagree with you here. When you are a position coach and you have the opportunity to take one of the only 32 offensive coordinator jobs……when only a handful of new ones come open every year….you want that job

This take is ridiculous. We have a legit defense and excellent offensive weapons. we don’t have enough data to know if Darnold can be the answer - but he is better than Cam at this point. this is a good year in both FA and the draft for OL help. Invest there. We might be a year away from respectability and two from the playoffs. Get rid of Rhule and that whole process starts over. New Coordinators. New personnel. And you waste the areas where this team is good. Not a smart plan

FA works great when you have money to spend and quality players available. Problem is we haven’t had money to spend in forever and don’t end up with the ability to get quality players
