  1. I think Stroud is trending toward a 15-20 ranked QB rather then top 7 like many have claimed. Young being such a bust and Stroud playing in a horrible division has helped him along. His mechanics have really started to fall apart. Still a win for Houston, he is a legit franchise QB but as a middle of the pack QB he needs more help.
  2. Wash got a 3rd for Jahan Dotson and he definitely not as good as Johnson.
  3. Yep, What I was thinking. If we are #1 don't make it a big deal just move the pick knowing Sanders is not coming. Then pretend that was the move you wanted to make. That is what a smart team would do. So we will tell Sanders we are drafting you whether you like it or not now its your move.
  4. Should we be picking up anybody on waiver? Jamin Davis is on waivers he hasn't been a superstar but an avg LB which makes a real NFL LB. Wash says even releasing him he was a solid teammate so it wasn't attitude just fit.
  5. I mean cmon. Look excited? This is your shot? He knows what is coming, gzzz it has been a month he knows it will look no different in the same situation. What an absurd X post. His "shot" is on his next team. If anything this will hurt his "shot". In life you have to look at things from other point of views sometimes. Sorry this tweet just rubbed me the wrong way and seemed to be piling on the team for the sake of it.
  6. And some of our fans want to keep making the mistake. I remember seeing posts a month ago stating posters didn't care if Tepper is the one that pulled Young. Frustrating we still have fellow fans in favor of that behavior when it is that type of behavior that keeps good football people from coming. Which is the only way to turn it around, not # of draft picks and FA's. It's over for the foreseeable future just to many other well run clubs.
  7. Thumb sprains are common in fender benders..lol. If I played for the Panthers I would find a car to run into also. Guys are bailing.
  8. Darnold will not be available I can not imagine. There has been some patter Purdy maybe available via trade. Grab Purdy for a second and sign him long term. Build between FA and draft for 2 years and we could be back.
  9. Yep, what experience does the guy have? Who did he learn from? A lot of the GMs have worked at lower levels for several teams. We have to look at how other crappy teams have turned it around stop trying to reinvent the wheel.
  10. Oh, OK didn't know that. I knew they signed outside GM and new coaching staff.
  11. Cmon no one can possibly know what Canales is or is not. I just listened to the post game and the guy has to sit up there and pretend there is a solution. You know what he wants to say is I can't make lemonade from oranges. If you take me and a few of the posters and put us on the field no matter how much coaching you do we can't be fixed to compete. We friggin replaced 6 out of our 53 ten days before the opener. No one saw that as a red flag? Who ever it is that is responsible for building the roster is to blame.
  12. The most upsetting thing for me while at the same time I think there is hope is we just got boat raced by a team that was us, not just last year but they have been us for years. Last year they were getting destroyed with the wrong coaches and QB. I am not saying they are SB contenders but within one year they have turned it around and are easily beating bad teams. They have now not just boat raced us but they beat the heck out of the Cards and Browns as bad as they beat us. You can turn it around quickly but you have to get real football people in the building. Is Tepper capable? is the question.
  13. I think the idea is the Panthers would be buying draft picks. They would not play or for that matter even have him on the team. But, yes if he played I am with you!
  14. You would think the original poster did not just see us lose by 18 to an average team at home. We scored 20pts. Do you realize a team like Wash who was very similar to us before "the QB" has not scored less then 21pts all season. Building around >34 yr old journeyman QBs is a loosing proposition. Find the QB or bust.
  15. I give a poo but the "we aren't far off" people aggravate me because sounds something like a Tepper would say. Everyone can have an opinion so my Apologizes to anyone that feels that way. We need a stud homegrown QB there is no other way. Show me a team that is otherwise?
