As a Saints fan, I would be concerned. Allen was fired from the Raiders for looting too much. That being said, I don’t think Carr was the issue. However, Carr would be a risk as a Panther. he would be either extremely good or extremely bad.

DITTO !!!! Rhule is just a sore loser. I think he is upset with the fact that we started Winning, after he was fired.

The only reason I mentioned Taysom is because, SP told M Loomis, “He wanted to take Taysom Hill with him.” not sure why we would not want him. Just because he played for the hated arch rival, doesn’t make him a bad player. I am not saying we would want Taysom Hill. I am saying he would be an excellent play if he works with SP. I am not sure I would kick him off the football field.

I vote Sean Payton. However, if there is a 3rd option for a proven coach, I might go that route to save draft choices. as a Saints fan, I know that he can make the Panthers a powerhouse. Especially if he brings in Taysom Hill.

Sean Payton will become head coach and will bring in Taysom Hill.

I am not sure this would be a good move, assuming it’s true. Panthers want to interview Saints DC Richard Saints defensive coordinators only have one year experience and Dennis Allen calls all the defensive plays. To me, it would be risky.

My sincere question is for the tankers. When is it okay not to tank?

I don’t know. The expectation for a QB has changed since approximately 5 years ago. Everyone wants to draft, the next superstar QB. Ie Trevor Lawrence. I have watched NFL football since 1967. Approximately five years ago, I started hearing questions about tanking your team to get a better draft pick. Most of the time the tankers seem to be wanting to get that next Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, etc. my question is, could somebody like Sam Darnold, Teddy, Bridgewater, etc, play well enough to satisfy people who are looking for the next super star quarterback?

Unfortunately, this is correct. The trick will be to score lots of points. I am not saying the referee will try to throw the game for Brady. However, they are human and may subconsciously give Brady a boost.

This is possible. One constant interesting rumor I keep hearing is, “Payton and Brady will go to a team.” 1st Dolphins, costing them a draft pick. 2nd, going to New Orleans. Point is, they keep putting Payton with Brady. it is too easy to start a rumor these days.

These people think Carr will go to the Saints. Carr to Saints. Yea right! I think bringing Carr to any team is the equivalent to, rolling the dice! My thought is he could be, just another QB. Darnold seems to be doing okay. Panthers are the team to beat in the NFC South

Absolutely . Why would anyone want to tank and wait for next year. If anyone should tank New Orleans needs to tank so that the Eagles will have the number one pick in 2023.
