Panthers fire Blackburn, Okam, and Meyer
Green-Ghost replied to Cdparr7's topic in Carolina Panthers
I see this a lot in both College and Pro football . The coach, who is on the Hot Seat, fires his assistant coaches. The coach maybe either; worried about his job and wants to show changes or the coach genuinely thinks the assistants are not performing properly. -
I don’t think so. I see talking heads at ESPN, etc. speculating that, “certain successful coaches might be in play.” Teams should consider trading for successful coaches, in return for draft picks, etc. it reminds me of Head Hunting in the corporate world.

I have a feeling we will see a lot of coaching changes in this off-season. I hear they are even talking about trying to lure coaches away from teams by using draft picks. Even Mike Tomlin and Sean Payton are being mentioned.

Which coach is better? Riverboat Ron or Matt Rhule. I realize that it is easy to second guess decisions.

???? How? Where? -
Even hated Saints fans think Rhule is bad. Good news is that Rhule is losing support. https://saintsreport.com/threads/what-has-matt-rhule-done-to-warrant-an-nfl-coaching-position.469033/

Even the most hated division rivals agree. I think Rhule is losing support. https://saintsreport.com/threads/what-has-matt-rhule-done-to-warrant-an-nfl-coaching-position.469033/ -
I live in the Vicksburg Mississippi area. I noticed today where a fox in their infinite wisdom, has decided to show the phoenix Cardinals versus Dallas Cowboys, instead of the New Orleans saints versus Carolina panthers game. My guess is fox wants to show championship teams as opposed to regional teams. I was just curious, are you able to watch your beloved Carolina Panthers play in Charlotte North Carolina area or are you having to watch the Cardinals Dallas game.

Matt Rhule says Darnold will start Sunday
Green-Ghost replied to trueblade's topic in Carolina Panthers
I personally have never seen a successful team that constantly changes quarterbacks. coach sticks his finger in the air and decides to choose a quarterback based on, the direction of the wind. -
I remember years ago, the NFL had an exhibition game where college all stars play against the Super Bowl champions. The NFL stopped displaying this game due to the fact that the college All-Stars always lost. it was never a contest.

Hello all i watched the Saints lose to Miami last night. Although they lost, they still are in playoff contention. (They lost with their 40 string team). I have seen post here from people who are actually worried we will lose to the Saints. (They are worried that they won’t be able to justify firing the coach) if Panthers beat the Saints, it will finish off any playoff chances. my question is, is it better to beat the Saints or have a higher draft choice.

ESPN suggests 2 QBs for 2022 for the Panthers...
Green-Ghost replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why does this remind me of Mike Ditka and Ricky Williams. -
After 3 games (all wins) what was your opinion on...

I thought we had turned the corner. Panthers would be the power house of the NFC south. -

They are looking for a Sucker. Do sucker teams exist? -
Could Cam be 2022 Taysom Hill for the Panthers?
Green-Ghost replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Cam is a powerful mobile quarterback. He could play utility if he wanted to. I can’t see Cam playing that position because, I doubt he would agree with it. the real question is, should we have a utility position? If you look at the Saints, Taysom no longer has the success, he had 2,3 years ago. Teams have adjusted to it. -
We are DOOMED! Panthers expect Rhule back for 2022...WTF
Green-Ghost replied to usmcpanthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
The article made it sound like Rhule is wishy washy regarding the quarterback. It sounds like bad decisions are being made. They are looking for the next Arron Rogers, Brady, Brees, etc. correct me if I am wrong but, Cam Newton had tremendous success, in the past. As a Saints fan, I worried the most about playing against Cam. He was successful against the Saints. At the beginning of this season, Panthers went 3-0. I honestly do not know what happened, after game 4. Something is wrong but, I don’t think it is the quarterback. -
Didn’t The Panthers beat the Saints, before all the Injuries? my point is, the Panthers are capable of Beating the Bucs.
-
I think there is a lot of truth to this. I think referees, whether they realize it or not, give the better teams less penalties.

If we tear it all down again how long would it take...

I think you only have to look at Miami to answer your question. Miami tried this plan and they are mediocre, at best. I’m not saying that it won’t work. I’m saying it still depends upon the coaching staff and the personnel behind the team to make it work. -
The Panthers win three in a row at the beginning of the season. My question is, what changed? I don’t think three and 0 was a fluke.
