  1. Damn!!! Niners are scoring touchdowns. Meanwhile, Panthers are scoring field goals.
  2. I just snuck a peek at the Falcon board. They blame their loss on bad referees.
  3. I’m not so sure Quinn is the way to go. I honestly don’t think he is a good HC. My understanding is that he started as a good coach at Atlanta. But then he was fired for performance later at Atlanta. There were some obvious deficiencies in his coaching later at Atlanta. I think he is extremely good defensive coordinator. However, coordinators don’t necessarily make good head coaches. It is like gambling, it is a crapshoot. You have to figure out the odds of having a good head coach.
  4. https://thespun.com/.amp/nfl/nfl-world-calling-for-head-coach-to-be-fired-tonight Sorry if a repost. There is growing momentum from outside the Panthers organization to, fire Rhule.
  5. I watched him play at Ole Miss. there is no question in my mind, he has the talent. I recommended him earlier this year. that being said, I have seen talented QBs enter the NFL, with the wrong mental attitude. Remember Chad Kelly? hopefully his pre season was a, “Wake up call”. I still think he has potential, if he gets his mental problems worked out.
  6. One thing to consider, is his poker face the problem? In other words, is the other team able to tell by looking at Mayfield’s reactions? I am not sure I am explaining my suspicions, sometimes the other team picks up information by looking at QB body movements, etc.
  7. I’m a little surprised Payton didn’t make the list. didn’t Dan Quin fail at Atlanta?
  8. Mike Ditka said, The Saints are the elixir of the NFL. I have watched the Saints pull defeat out of the Jaws of Victory. Remember the Minneapolis miracle. this is why I knew The time was right for a Panther Victory. Congratulations on a great game.
  9. By the way. I was never good at talking disrespect for my opponent. This is why I would make a horrible Atlanta Falcons fan.
  10. I think this game will be closer than the talking heads in the media realize. The Saints want to win this game, to prove that they are still at a high level. A loss by the Saints would prove that they are falling back into the mediocre days. The Panthers need this game badly, to prove that they are no longer a mediocre team. this game will be close. The Sean Payton days are gone.
  11. My Understanding is that Tepper and Rhule are friends. Is this true? If so that might be why Tepper is reluctant to just fire Rhule. the pressure to fire Rhule is building on Tepper
  12. I doubt it. I think the lowest point was the year Panthers were formed, as an expansion team. There were some growing pains before they could become competitive. I remember when the Tampa Bay buccaneers had their first year of existence. They went two and a half years before they even had their first win. Their first win came against, you guessed it the New Orleans Saints.
  13. I didn’t know this. Remind me not to miss anymore staff meetings.
  14. I think this is a common worry when you feel like your team has hit rock bottom. In 2005, Saints fans worried that Benson would move the team to San Antonio TX. think of it this way: where would Tepper move the team, that makes more $, than where he is now? the middle eastern US is growing very fast, right now. There are lots of people moving to NC. Most are moving to escape taxes imposed by big market states. I think Tepper knows that a franchise move will not lead to more $ and will not make a winning team.
  15. What happens if the Panthers win against the hated Saints, this weekend. Will his seat be a little cooler?
  16. This is my thought too. I think the real challenge is to remain upbeat, in the face of adversity. How do you remain motivated and optimistic. Granted it is hard, but it is necessary to have any chance of a successful season. I see all kinds of posts regarding, Fire Rhule Now. I understand that, but any coach has a chance to get better. I know it is not likely but, it is not impossible. I believe that the Panthers have a good chance to defeat the Saints this weekend. Keep the Faith!!!!
  17. How would Rhules seat be if Panthers beat the Saints next week?
  18. Good point. Lol I guess that would be my point. The Lions won too.
  19. I think it is too early in the season to make any kind of prediction like this. We have seen teams such as the Jacksonville jaguars have really good days then turn around and have a really bad day. If I had to guess at this point, I would guess the New York Jets might be the worst team.
  20. Brees was one example, other people have mentioned Doug Flutie. The point is that being too short is not a major problem, if you work hard to overcome.
  21. I would attend unless, I felt the players gave up. I would not support the coaching staff. it’s one thing to abandon ship when you still have guns and engines. it’s another thing when you go down with the ship, while throwing paper weights at the enemy.
