Go Panthers Go! Great Pass

For this season, Darnell is already a back up. It all depends upon what happens later this season and how well PJ performs. I think that PJ should start for the remainder of the season unless he fails. I would start PJ and have Corral back up to PJ. However, to be honest, I do not know what the financial situation is in the front office. Salary cap room, etc.

By the way, Panthers win means that the Panthers will have to defeated every other team in the NFC south.

Panthers are a different team, since Rhulezie left. Atlanta is still Atlanta. Panthers win 31 to 17

What’s your 2023 QB big board (including Corral)
Green-Ghost replied to Wundrbread33's topic in Carolina Panthers
I will have to give this some thought. I like young so far from what I have seen. But I haven’t seen much of the other quarterbacks to make a comparison. I still think Corral has a lot of potential, unless he cannot get his head straight. He needs another pre season to evaluate. -
That is what John Smith said, when he ran the red light and collided with officer Pete Brown’s police car. Nobody has heard from John Smith in quite a while.

I was just wishing for this very thread. “You play to win the game.” - Dennis Green if we were 2&5 in the NFC North, the answer, “Tank” would be easier. However, we are 2&5 in the NFC South. A win this weekend will make us tied for first place. If you look at the Saints forms, their attitude is, “Win baby win!” However, they cautiously point out that they would be weak in the Playoffs. They could be one and done in the playoffs. The mistake that I see many fan bases make is, fans think everything Is Absolute. If it was absolute, we don’t have to bother going to the games after ESPN makes their predictions. Nothing is absolute, so we have to use statistics and probability. That first round draft pick could be either a gem or a bust. By the way, Chad Kelly is probably currently sitting in a strangers house sitting on the strangers sofa and watching the strangers television, as we speak. How many times, have we seen a weak team suddenly become hot during the later part of the season. Bottom line is, I would not want to make this decision. It could go either way.

If you had asked me this question, before Matt Ryan left the Falcons, I would say that it would be a good trade. However, now that he is playing for the Colts, he doesn’t seem to be doing any better. I would not take a chance on him.

Draft CJ Young, trade Corral.

What I'd like to see for the rest of the year
Green-Ghost replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
These are all really good points. The only thing I would like to add to this is a good general manager and a good coach. People who are smart at recognizing talent. -
Give me your best overview of today's game.
Green-Ghost replied to Dragoon11's topic in Carolina Panthers
Up until half time. I saw a lot of energy and drive. After halftime, I saw a different team. They seemed to loose motivation. I don’t know why. -
https://sportsnaut.com/sean-payton-trade-rumors-landing-spots/ well, sounds to me Payton will be too pricey! I don’t trust Dan Quinn as a head coach. (Too many problems at Atlanta) I don’t have any ideas . what about Mike Tomlin? (Assuming Pittsburgh parts ways with him)

I still believe in Corral. My only concern is: has he mentally adjusted to the NFL? A pre season performance is not enough to get a complete assessment. I have seen his talent. Only question is, does he have poise?

The crazy thing is we would be 3-0 with Cam Newton
Green-Ghost replied to OneBadCat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Cam used to have the Saints number. He was an awesome quarterback back in the day. Unfortunately, he seemed mediocre when playing for the Pats. He struggled when he returned to the Panthers. he could surprise everyone and make a glorious return. However. Probability is not good. Panthers still have a shot at making a playoff run. -
Question: do I stay in competitive mode and try to get in playoffs? Do I go in rebuilding mode and try to get draft picks? I know,, Jim Mora,, “Playoffs! Are you kidding me! PLAYOFFS! I just hope we can win a game!” However, one of the great things about football is proving the experts wrong.
-
I honestly don’t know anything about Walker. However, I would hate to make decisions at this point. the NFC south is a wide open division. It is not out of possibly that the new coach may spark the locker room. if I were the coach, I would stay in aggressive mode.

Don’t be surprised if Panthers beat Rams Sunday
Green-Ghost replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Can you say, Silver Lining? My suspicions were that the NFL was trying to help the LA teams, whenever possible. NFL wanted to have at least one team in LA. They felt there was a lot of $ to be had. They were trying to help the Rams develop a fan base. now that the Rams have a super bowl win, I don’t think they are getting extra support from the NFL. -
It is the Tom Brady…. Er,, Ah , Flag football rule. You have to pull his towel.
-
As a Saints fan, I would want to say hell no. I don’t want Sean Payton playing for somebody else in my division. As a Panthers fan, I would say hell yes!!! Just because a coach plays for your arch rival, doesn’t mean that he is a poor coach. If anybody can work with the offense and make a quarterback better it is Sean Payton. This coach, took a bottom dweller team to the Super Bowl. That being said my only concern is, what would be his cost. What would it take to get him out of the contract with the signs.

Just in time to win the division. Although y’all may have trouble with the unofficial don’t tackle Tom Brady rule.
