Ball came out when CMC was all but at the goal line. You want sam to bring the d back into the play with a lob to the middle third of the field? Ok?
-
But the DB would get there as CMC would have to stop and wait for a lob
-
Wow. Like a NE home game.
-
Wtf that was a solid extra yard spot.
-
NE at their finest. Cheating bastards. Mac is going the bush league on that play. Let's go karma!
-
The play on 1st down was a great route and call. Just had a DL get the hand up at the wrong time for us. Otherwise, it was 6.
-
Wtf was that 2nd call with the scat back in. Come on Brady.
-
Was that a late hit that got burns?
-
Spider burns! Be ok man
-
That penalty was jacked up. Thanks refs. Need the D to stiffen up now.
-
That's 2 terrible tackle attempts by 34. Can't wait till he is off the field.
-
Before the hype train, was open. Now as a guy going in 1st or 2nd, that's scary. He's a big project that may never pan out.

There is one 90% lock for future all pro O this draft class: Evan Neal. He stays healthy, he's a much faster, bigger and even stronger Otah (for us panther folks, and Otah was a load as a run blocker, best run blocking OT we've had). Absolute monster of a man, looks for work, and a road grating machine that can actually protect the QB at a high level. I worry about weight a little (like Otah) and injuries cause he's a big dude, but otherwise he's the man. You can nitpick the technique, but his athleticism and on field worked ethic (I love OL who heads are on a swivel wanting to hit someone thru the end of a play) say he can get there with a little coaching. He might not drop in and be Joe Thomas or Ogden day one, but he's has the tools and then some to be on their level. He can in the business for a decade if healthy and a wee bit of coaching. I wouldn't even go there with Sewell. Unlike Sewell, he's maybe the only non QB from the last 2 drafts I would buck up and trade up for. He's legit.
-
Want Evan Neal so much more than Sewell from last year, sucks we don't suck enough to get that guy. Even as a RT (he can definitely play LT), he is such a load I would take him top 5. He's an all pro in the making. Has a nasty streak and goes looking for people to block and doesn't sit and block air if his buddy is engaged. Only guy I would move up for this year.

New Corvettes are mid engine, behind driver. Idk on the tank location of new Corvettes. Seeing no driver door open on the rav4 is scary. Was it fire that did them in from the pictures, cause the passanger side is open.

Yeah idk how they all got the collective YIPS the last 5 weeks but good gosh it's been bad. That's been #1 WTF of the year. Other things kinda knew would happen along the course of the year. Bad games from QB and O-line sure, but the poo show from the WRS, no, didn't see that coming. As for the CMC, personally, he just gets 20 of the touches, all of Abdullah's and Freeman's touches, some from Hubbard. Only real way those other 2 come in are for a blow for the top 2 guys depending on the situation. Of note from yesterday: lot more heavy packages than before. And it lead to success. I'm cool with that. As long as Sam can hit the short 3rd down conversions and use the 1st down as an extension if the running game, it may work. On 2nd down, we need to make sure we get into 3rd and 5 or shorter to at least keep a team honest vs just rushing the passer. If it's a sure as poo pass coming we are screwed ATM all around.
-
The offensive talent talk needs to be questioned too. With CMC out, at best it's a cut below average. Can't be great with 24 fuging drops, regardless of the QB or line. Then the line is a pass rushers wet dream. I'm cool going back to a pound the rock idea. Even in the 2000s, it's won a lot of games and hell made it to SB and won a few. It's not the in thing, but can still work. Less margin for error when you can't really quick strike, but provides the other team less opportunities if you can stay on the field and take away drives from the other team. Unfortunately, I'm not sold the O-line can be dominant as a unit in the run game. Maybe they can even be a good one, but not solid after 1 game. If they turn in to the 2008 or 2015 units that can blow people off the ball, then there is a chance this all works. But I don't see this group being close to those units.

Don't wrestle with a pig in the muck, you get dirty and hate it, he loves it.....

We have a bunch of traffic cones that don't know what to do in pass pro we call linemen. When asked to go smack someone, they were not bad today, or most of the year. That's the white flag we finally raised. Took too damn long to do that. We hinted at it earlier this year, and didn't do it. Finally bit the bullet and didn't go pass happy all f'n day. F you Brady for not doing this a week earlier or more. Cost us atleast a game. Also finally committed to running with a straight heavy lineup. Again bout damn time! Worked in 2015 too, with a much worse pool of WR, But they caught balls at least. We all know we need more out of the passing game, but CMC out and dropsies everywhere as well as a happy foot QB all lead to what we saw today: a staff that realized they must go the way the running game goes. There are many levers that lead us here but I am glad they adjusted. Yes Sam is undoubtedly one of those that has been off too. I'd still contend with a wr corp that doesn't drop tds (that was a weak drop by Moore, bad call too but really can't hang on there thru the ground man?), lead the league in drops (+4 more today), a line that doesn't let everyone up the middle who dares to run a stunt against them, then we can maybe see just how serviceable he could be. The current BS makes it harder where he sits in the scheme of the NFL. Too many times he makes a throw and it's dropped. Makes a throw off perfect target, dropped. Others are just bad reads. It's really tough as some was really bad reads that gets us stuck others are bad drops. Like idk if he is baker Mayfield (that's a awesome line!) or David Carr right now. We all screamed last year that it was all on teddy, really, are we still sure? I don't think teddy is that much better, just different. As for Sam, he made the big throws he needed to on 3rd downs. Something we missed before today, but also wasn't asking to be way behind and need long conversions like normal. Big thing in the 1st games was not getting so far behind the sticks with CMC plus a much better safety valve in CMC. It's old ugly 1900 football today, but that's where we are. A better running team that can sprinkle in the pass right now.

Hey he did catch that inside kick now..... 15mil for that.... But yeah he's not really been worth that $ at all. Wish he held out

That 1st play would like a word with you on the mistakes part...... But yeah that game was pretty good on terms of what they needed to do go win. Keep the D off the field and methodically move the ball. Something we have called for FOREVER! The line has been terrible trying to keep the QB upright, but ok as run blocking. Add it Ricci balling as a old school FB, and the three headed RB group looked pretty good. Abdullah is a little more CMC as a receiver but we have 2 ok rushers anyways. -
