  1. Travis was pretty good himself. wouldn't mind him on the NFL roster.
  2. Trey Benson, next frank gore? Odds, 1 in a million but same injury history and big bruising style.
  3. Etienne pulling UF across the line this half
  4. That te throw was low....... If it was another QB it be called that. And more yellow on the field. Sloppy sloppy sloppy
  5. Travis looks like russ tonight. Freaking Houdini.
  6. Come on Florida homer, honestly Travis has looked pretty good. Has the last 3 weeks too. Both look dang good
  7. Completely different FSU D to start this half.
  8. Fsu's coverage I mean. Though looks like the Defense for both teams stepping up to start the 2nd half
  9. FSU and UF: Anyone seen a defense? Most of that half was trashy D. That said, both teams just took what was being given and capitalized. AR-15 and #1 for UF connect for what 4 for 130+ and 3 tds? And 1 was wide open with lots in front to put up YAC. And anyone teach tackling at UF? fun game if you like just offense.
  10. JT Jefferson. Draft and let him sit 2 years. He has everything you want. Idk if he comes out (true jr). But he shows flashes at a meh to ugh team in a stacked SEC.
  11. Eh, more like the jets break another young QB. like the Texans did with Carr, early starting QBS are a crap shoot cause normally they get thrown out waaay too early. A lot sink and get a bust label. Others get time to learn before thrown out there. Not exactly a fair metric but that's how the tables are tilted against the early picks. Perform now or get a bust tag.
  12. Yeah that arm like Wilson 2 years ago. Both scream top 5 in the league as the ball is just out in a flash. But there is a lot to fix there for Levis and Wilson looks lost needing a solid year more carrying a clip board to figure it out (if he's not broken).
  13. There are a few this year in that boat via transfer/grad degree/ covid rules. Penix, Hooker, Levis.... That said for Levis, he doesn't have the cast of say hooker or the powderpuff D in the Pac12. The arm tallent is real and up there with Wilson and Darnold. It's all between the ears imo on which way he breaks.
  14. To me, it's more about the mental game and consistency game than the physical aspect at QB. The top all time guys are not the best athletes to play the position. Far from it. Hell what transformed Allen from being awful to elite was hitting small windows, using his eyes to move the D around, and shaping his throws instead of all darts. Yes it's great he can still bully the D in the run game, but that didn't really make him elite. If you think stroud or young or anyone else in the draft has the ability to manipulate D via eyes, read a D pre and post snap, and put the right touch on every throw, get that guy. Really that's the magic to the top guys. That's really hard to find and usually takes years in the pros to grasp it all. Having the extra athletic tools but having to lock on to a receiver to figure when they come open, and having 1 speed when you throw is pointless even if you are the best runner at the position (hey MV7). Will you win games yes, win a SB, so far not close. those skills will win a few games, get streaky and make highlight reals for years. This is not to say an superb athlete can't be a QB, but is to say, that's not the top things to look for. captin obvious here at the huddle, yes ideally, get both, that's super rare. Don't see anyone in this class like that atm. Could a few be that rare guy, sure. If it's a guy that makes few post snap reads but has the touch to make it work vs the better athlete that's the hard call. Cause at the NFL level the pre snap mismatches are still there but not nearly the same level (hey Mike leach, lane kiffen and osu). The pre snap system guys are a really hard read. Herbert, Mahomes and Hurts broke that mold that you can play a spread and still get it done in the NFL. The list of spread flops is miles long.
  15. Few months later, haven't most here switched to the Richardson train.
  16. Nah, daboll showed you how it's done to end a half...
