  1. Ok, I admit I like him more than Teddy. Good interview, that basketball background footage, he's a competitor at least. I'll give him a year, from here on forget the past, I'm living in the present, he's a Panther....the future is still bright. He's the perfect underdog, I root for them not by choice but because I'm a Carolina Panther. but u Kno if say Fields drops or Trey sitting there, it wouldn't hurt to have a competitive backfield.
  2. Or we become the new Jets, the team always outsmarting themselves. History says they'll take a Mac Jones type of a player but I had Z.Wilson as a bust so all's well...
  3. Only thing going for the kid,he is young. If Belichick was his coach he would still throw more picks than TDs like he did last year.
  4. It's going to be a long year. If he fails then we got finesse by the Jets. The Jets...
  5. Z.Wilson do not want... I see the Jets taking Jones...
  6. I wish at least one of the reporters would have asked "How many ghosts you see out on the field? You know maybe it's down from 22 to 13 you know, you just never know, you know?
  7. As much I would like to believe that, I think Tepper's ego didn't want to see his new coach lose to his old coach.
  8. Are any of the Panther's personnel attending? https://www.google.com/amp/s/ninerswire.usatoday.com/2021/04/10/qb-trey-lance-schedules-2nd-pro-day-kyle-shanahan-john-lynch-expected-to-attend/amp/ If so can we assume we are still looking at QBs. I mean Fitter did say it's still a possibility. Say maybe Joe Brady?
  9. Yeah the same effort they put into....wait for...it...beating WFT.
  10. Prime example: Teddy this year, his stats doesn't tell the whole story that we all know to well.
  11. Regardless his numbers, I have a gut feeling he is not the answer long term unfortunately, but I believe he will serve as a great backup as in a D.Anderson. Better than Teddy I assume because he beat out Teddy in Jets camp. Then again that could've been the staff consume with the thought they found their QB so maybe Teddy really never had a chance.
  12. So if Sam gets injured... 2022 Huddle, "Sam was hurt all year give him one more year he started off...."
  13. Say Teddy gets traded to WFT and next year they go deep in the playoffs and Sam sucks. Is the staff at fault then??? Or will there be more excuses... Cam look better than Teddy before he caught Covid-19, I'm just saying. Teddy might do good over there, and Rhule might look like he can't evaluate QBs
  14. Lance is the only option I see being available. Go for it, who's to say we build a wall and Sam still rolls out, it's in his nature what good is the o-line if your QB is still seeing ghosts of Xmas past. Lance behind Sam for a year. FA comes around again pick up some vets on the o-line or through the draft but at least we have our QB for the future. Do we really want to be the team always looking for a starting QB. Regardless the staff, excuses for Sam has to stop. He was/is who he is. Turnover machine.
  15. SMH...Did he really just compared Rodgers to Darnold...??? We have serious mental health issues going on here.
  16. Destroyed either way you look at it (mentally or physically)so I see the same results incoming, Panthers looking for a QB next year, the year after that, and so on until we get our own hand pick QB.
  17. That's the problem, looking for a starting QB. There's plenty of starting QBs in the NFL. And Drew Brees was a FRANCHISE QB. So again I ask when will the Panthers realize the only way to the mountain top is with an elite talent at the QB position? Or do they keep settling for MEDIOCRITY
  18. Let me dumb it down, WHEN WILL WE SEE CAM'S REPLACEMENT? My guess by time Michael Kern enters into the draft... Or better question when is the next time you see Carolina in the Superbowl? Only two QBs have, and they only got there once. Hell the current QBs hope they can see a playoff game
  19. Until the draftpick is called I'm holding out on any judgement...
  20. I'm glad someone understands this thread... Sam Darnold = David Carr. We have to find a QB, our own guy not someone's leftover. By the end of next year I can see the same thing happening again, top 8-12 pick, hoping to land a QB. There's a pattern I see developing, trying to win with rejects, castoffs, so much is put on Rhule's development, well Teddy didn't work out, if Sam doesn't, what then...New England didn't bash Cam, and I believe he looked worse than Teddy, but our new staff devalue our own assets. Who would want to come to Carolina knowing there's no real direction and a few bad games gets you called out by the OWNER, not just the coaches but the OWNER who had to ok you coming here in the first place. Before we drafted Cam, Andrew Luck was the pick, but he wanted nothing to do with us, so yeah we lucked up BIG time with Cam. Cam open the market up for Carolina, each year passing that door is getting slimmer. Star players will want to go somewhere else(ex. Samuel) if not for the money but to actually compete for a Lombardi. Jake to Cam years were awful. Vincent Frank Testaverde Sr....need I say more
  21. After researching myself, I've come to the conclusion that Sam Darnold = David Carr.
