  1. Wouldn’t mind it but considering the moves me made @ LB in FA, if a QB is not there @ 8th pick, our options are likely going to be BPA @ OT, CB or trade down.
  2. North Carolina native, 28 yo, drafted in 2016. Good size and would provide nice depth on the DL. Would be a nice pick in FA or trade for later round pick.
  3. Same here. If we didn’t have other major concerns e.g. QB, OL, CB or made the additions at LB, I’m sure he be at the too of the list @ #8.
  4. Nice breakdown sir. Wish more of our fans understood this. It’s a process. Looking at the contract structure itself gives you an idea of what the organization had in mind when they signed him: a veteran QB familiar with a new offense and a bridge (pun intended) to an eventual successor. Makes sense to me.
  5. Damn...hate it for us. Wonder why we never tendered him an offer?
  6. I’m fine with this. He flashed last year but overall his play left a lot to be desired. We could use an upgrade.
  7. I agree. If we can’t get a QB, we’re in prime position @ 8 to shore up OT or a blue chip defensive prospect. We need to get out of the retread/reclamation business if we want sustained success.
  8. Might as well re-sign Okung. Too long an injury history with Fisher.
  9. We have too many needs on the roster NOT to go BPA. Reaching for a player for the sake of filling a need e.g. QB is never good.
  10. I don’t think him or Norwell are worth bringing back after being virtually non-existent once they left.
  11. Yup...Double T was one of our “hog-mollies”
  12. Morestead would be a nice luxury to have. Unfortunately, we have a roster with more than a few holes including a major ? @ QB at the moment.
  13. Bad break for Palardy. Hope he lands on his feet and wish him the best wherever he lands. On the other hand, it’s good to see the Panthers making good business decisions. Charlton will be a good one for us and cap saving is critical this offseason.
  14. If we can’t get Lance or Fields, I’m okay with waiting until ‘22 for the next crop of signal callers. There should be less competition with all the QB movement this year. But yeah Lance is my top choice @ 8.
  15. I see your point but cutting Apple probably had more to do with work ethic issues and attitude which were problems at his previous stops.
  16. A good move to bring an experienced DL coach on board. Okam has a good resume but limited pro experience and Knighton, with limited coaching experience. Both can learn from him. Solid move by the Panthers.
  17. Age and injuries have caught up with him and he was pretty much a one-tricky pony before that.
  18. ^This. You nailed it sir. Thank you!!! And that’s a terrible trade for a rookie QB other than Lawrence or Watson.
  19. Careful. We don’t want another Larry Johnson contract fiasco, do we? He is the best thing to happen to this team in awhile. Kid is really special!!!
