I’m sure location, location and location (and all that comes with that) factored just as heavily as the roster talent. These guys are human beings 1st after all.

I don’t quite agree the team is giving up but I do think our struggles offensively will prevent us from winning more than 2 games the rest of the way.

Most elite veteran QBs aren’t keen about joining a rebuilding team especially one with a suspect OL, their best offensive player on IR and about a year or two away from serious playoff contention. As to Watson choosing Miami, what pro athlete in his position and under the present circumstances wouldn’t chose South Florida over Charlotte or just about anywhere else if given the choice?

Not sure why RA hasn’t been benched. It’s clear he’s struggling for whatever reason and it a a problem that’s not correcting itself anytime soon it seems.

I have serious questions about the OL coaching here. The OL play appears to have steadily regressed since last season.

I agree but it’s hard to stay committed to the run with this group. Our pass blocking is better in comparison to our pass blocking which is hard to believe but it is what it is until we bring in better talent.

At this point I don’t even think we can beat their scrubs or anyone else’s for that matter. The D is going to be completely worn down by the time the O can figure out how to sustain a drive.

I hate being pessimistic but when you look at our remaining schedule I honestly can’t see where the next win comes from….maybe WFT? And it’s a shame because the D has played solid overall with the exception of Dallas and Minny. Our O is god awful!

This Hornets win is the perfect antidote for that dreadful Panthers performance. 3-0!!!

you may be right Squid but I can’t see trading fir Watson until the dark clouds hanging over him are cleared. And who knows when that will be? And if we do, we’ll be making a huge PR mistake.

Wow…we are the get-right team for sure. Teams that struggle when playing us suddenly have their best drives of the season. SMDH And as I type this, the D makes a colossal goal line stand.

I know you’re being sarcastic but as the old Kenny Rogers song, The Gambler, says: You got to know when to hold ‘em, no when to fold ‘em know when to walk away, know when to run

Their offense appears to be a MASH unit. We should dominate on D but this O will be the equalizer in a rather ugly game. I think we get this one by a FG but it wouldn’t surprise me either if we lose by same.

Brady’s problems here are an injured star RB, a reclamation project at QB and a below average OL. Fix these issues and we’re straight. With the exception of 2015, Shula was one of worse OC we had.

Yeah we’re really missing Jaycee and Shaq. Hopefully, the addition of Gilmore will help us overall.

On the bright side, Keith Taylor balled out! With him and Kenny Robinson coming along, our secondary is seriously stacked!

I hope so. I’m sure they can’t wait to get him on the field. Not sure what will help our run D though.

A damn good decision. The OL is playing much better with the new LG Jordan. You’re right though - not sure why we’re keeping Miller and his bum shoulder in there.

Vikings are probably going to lean heavy on the run game with Dalvin Cook back in the lineup. Slows down our pass rush and limits opportunities to sack Cousins. Based on the Dallas game, they may decide to test our inconsistent run defense more than our loaded secondary.
