  1. That’s the one positive thing I remember about John Fox - he brought in Dan Henning who had a ton of NFL coaching experience as his 1st offensive play caller. Rhule would have done well to do the same and if he stays on another year I hope he does just that.
  2. These guys nailed it. Running the same plays over and over again only makes sense if it works. Ours never seems to but we run them anyway. It’s been that way for years.
  3. Probably be hired at ‘Bama as their passing game coordinator learning under the master, Nick Saban. Wouldn’t that be something?
  4. True. Tepper has done more to improve the front office in 3 years than Richardson did in the 20+ years of his ownership. Just hasn’t translated to the field just yet.
  5. I wouldn’t be surprised. The OL play has been uninspiring at best since he took over. Granted we haven’t had the talent but these guys as a unit have gotten worse. Even Moton has regressed some. I’d be all for seeing what Sparano Jr. can do the rest of the way.

  7. Nice job battling back to force OT….Let’s go Hornets!
  8. Hornets playing flat tonight. We just can’t lose to a 2-win team.
  9. I think Rhule understands that based on our offensive limitations e.g. below average OL, shaky QB situation, etc., playing a conservative style offense is our best chance to win this year. We weren’t nearly as conservative last year and once these issues get addressed, we should get back to a pro style offense. JMO
  10. Robby certainly has the speed but he’s thin as a rail. Too easy for DB to jam and out-physical.
  11. And he certainly didn’t do his job here or anywhere else for that matter. That’s why he’s on his fifth team this season. Way to go, Slye!!!!
  12. Fixed it for you. He missed Robby Anderson - could’ve easily picked up a 1st down there.
  13. TD…Welcome Home Cam!!!! and nice play calling by Brady
  14. Nice to get the win but they have learn to play better with a big lead. A better team would have stolen this from us.
  15. I think Ridley’s sudden departure really threw a wrench in their offense game strategy. Add to that the injury to Patterson, not to mention no viable running game, and it’s pretty easy to shut them down. We pretty much did the same thing when we played them a few weeks back.
  16. Agree . I’m hoping the goal is to get Cam up to speed to be full-time starter after the bye when we play the Falcons. This will have Cam oiled up for the toughest stretch of our schedule with 3 division games and the possible playoff berth on the line.
  17. He won’t. He’s out for the season and this is the last year of his contract. I’m sorry but good riddance! And Elfein is better at C than G. Hope we’ve finally found a solution to our interior woes.
  18. Mostly agree with you here. You can definitely see the logic behind these decisions, even acquiring Sam (although we got hosed in hindsight with the compensation). Sometimes things just don’t work out. The head scratcher for me was exercising that fifth year option on a QB with his spotty history. They certainly should have held their horses on that one.
  19. Agreed. This is what happens when KEEP POUNDING becomes GET POUNDED on the field.
  20. Agreed. I think Smitty is off on this one. Baker is not Brady but he’s tailor-made for their offense. Beckham was a bad fit from jump. It’s more of the organization’s fault for making the trade without understanding the player or the potential fit or lack thereof. I can see him ending up in GB or NO (though their QB situation is worse than Cleveland’s at the moment).
