  1. This has always been my take as well. As the saying goes, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”. With the current state of this team, it’s going to take a few seasons to get back to respectability and longer to be mentioned in the same breath with Detroit or Green Bay.
  2. Even if we lose out the remaining season, firing Morgan and Canales solves nothing and will only further damage Tepper’s bad reputation as an impetuous, impatient and incompetent owner. This team will continue to suck until we get this roster in better shape. Period. Any coach or GM would have a hard time making chicken salad out of this,…well you know.
  3. We have talent but overall this team is woefully lacking. Gonna take awhile to build this roster into a winner.
  4. I like the new direction but Hornets’ ugly habit of squandering a big lead resurfaced again tonight. Good thing it’s preseason and I’m sure a learning opportunity for the young guys.
  5. I agree to an extent but if we keep losing, and that’s a real possibility with the mounting injuries and defensive struggles, there’s a good chance DJ won’t be making plans to stick around beyond this season. In that case, I say we definitely should consider trading him for by the deadline. Let’s face it - it’s going to take some time to build this team into a winner. We’re not just a player or two away either. What’s the use of holding onto a valuable player who may not be around after this year anyway when we could possibly net draft capital that will help our team in the long run?
  6. Passing on Zach Frazier is still a head scratcher for me. But this is what separates winning franchises from ones like ours. We had the opportunity to take Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith, two stalwart OL for Kansas City, in the 2020 draft but we passed up on them for guys that aren’t even on the team now. I hope the new regime of Morgan and Tilis will make better personnel decisions going forward.
  7. With injuries mounting all over the roster and an increasingly depleted defense, Travis Hunter is a luxury we just can’t afford. We need foundation pieces e.g. DL, DE/Edge, IOL (Corbitt lost for the season, no heir apparent or depth), ILB, etc. Fortunately the 2025 draft is stocked with players at these positions that can help us. Hunter is a phenomenal player but let’s not lose sight of where we are and build intelligently to get better for the long haul.
  8. Couldn’t agree more. We’ve needed to tear this thing down to the studs for years now. Tepper is finally being forced to accept this reality.
  9. Sorry guys and gals but the hits keep coming https://www.panthers.com/news/center-austin-corbett-lost-for-the-season-to-biceps-injury
  10. Agree and for the entire season. Maybe now he’ll see the team as it really is - a hot mess - and take the hard lesson of letting the right people make football decisions without interference. We can only hope!
  11. Can’t say I’m mad either. I think we all knew this season was a wash. The roster has been terribly mismanaged since Tepper purchased the team and the chickens have come home to roost. It’s going to take us several years to get back to relevancy. Might as well accept it for what it is and endure the process.
  12. How are #6 and the Bengals #2 after last week’s loss?
  13. Hoping the Rams continue to loss since we have their 2nd round pick next year.
  14. BPA on defense for sure. And same for at least the next 2 rounds. We need help bad on D.
  15. Agree . This is going to be one long preseason with the roster we have currently, not to mention the growing list of injuries to the starters.
  16. I’m loving Jalen Coker. This kid is a dawg 4 sure. And Bryce is showing us a little something. The story is not over for him yet!
  17. Vilma is as bad as it gets. He’s epically awful.
  18. And another one….Austin Corbett out with a bicep injury. Either we’ve been bitten bad by the injury bug, or a lot of guys are making “business decisions”.
  19. LOL I was going to say “hot dawgs”. ‘Cause we’re getting eaten up out there.
  20. What about roughing the passer? Dalton is getting killed out there.
  21. Add Taylor Moton to the list of walking wounded. Can this season get any worse? On a bright note, Coker needs to replace Mingo in the starting lineup. He’s jus making plays And as I say this, Mingo finally makes a play.
  22. If that wasn’t pass interference I don’t know what is. And Mingo?
  23. No. Add this to the checklist of needs on D this offseason.
  24. Going to be a blowout ladies and gents. Our offense is unraveling and the D can’t stop a nosebleed at this point.
