Panthers fall in new ESPN Power Rankings
RenoCarolina replied to CarolinaLivin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I nominate "flying under the radar" (again) for the Panthers Greatest Quotes thread -
BIO Treash joined PFF full-time back in June of 2019 after being poached out of grad school by the company. He primarily works as a college football analyst but still dabbles in the NFL. huddle twitter, assemble!

Reasonable expectations for rookie performance
RenoCarolina replied to KB_fan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I bet one pattern you will see is that any team with a second year head-coach and first year GM will see a lot of opportunity for draft picks to become starters. -
I gave employee's a $300 bonus to get vaccinated. Masks will be optional soon for those vaccinated. Still 2 employees out of 14 that do not want to be vaccinated and that is their choice. Gotta love a free country you know. oh, sorry, Clos du Bois, Cab, $9.99 on sale from Lowes. No cheese.

I’m generally positive and it was clever in many ways. But the execution seemed forced and the concept not terribly original. A for effort but I don’t think the person who put @panthers social media on the map is with the team anymore.

I have no trouble sleeping, therefore no interest in major league baseball

Panthers @ Raiders doesn't look good
RenoCarolina replied to PanthersATL's topic in Carolina Panthers
I thought I did well just paying face. SB 50 was my most costly ticket. But I think flying with the Roaring Riot to take over London was most costly Panthers experience. Both bucket list items and both priceless! -
Teddy Opens up About Carolina (CBS)
RenoCarolina replied to CarolinaLivin's topic in Carolina Panthers
well then, the only appropriate response is "double Huh?" plenty to blame on Teddy's execution and overall performance. -
Teddy Opens up About Carolina (CBS)

Not throwing him under the bus does not equal lying about the situation. It was clear from the end of the season that the "Teddy era " (error?) was over. While not totally blaming Teddy also served to keep what trade value we had alive .... so our motives were not 100% altruistic. It still could have been a lot uglier. -
Teddy Opens up About Carolina (CBS)

Far from the Patriots, we were a team with new HC, OC and DC with very little pro experience. Very fair criticism and curious if he brought up the need for more practice to coaches. Maybe, just maybe our coaches/GM hear this. He is handling it as well as can be expected, plenty to blame on either side. Panthers did not throw him under the bus and did all they could to retain his value on the marketplace. For his sake I hope it stays a two qb race in Denver. -
Official NFL Schedule Day Leaks and such and stuff
RenoCarolina replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers

seems like there's a lot of optimism.....
RenoCarolina replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper should get some credit on the general air of optimism. Other than keeping Marty too long he is making all the right moves. Focusing on modern NFL management strategies, maximizing our cap management, hiring with with a high bar in mind and investing in the franchise and the region itself. Not to mention letting his football people make the ultimate call even while letting it be known what he likes. The man is a winner, only a matter of time before it is demonstrated to the league. -
Being confused can be fixed being scared cannot.

seems like there's a lot of optimism.....
RenoCarolina replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
My optimism was cemented when I heard Coach Rhule explain why we went with Horn at #8. “ Last year we couldn’t get the defense off the field. “. The best way to fix something is to know what is wrong. Add an impressive draft to the stars we have and impossible not to see this team trending up. -
and now it is clickbait here... sloppy seconds
-
Or we can compare against our former assistant GM

Have you ever seen someone get hit by a truck?
RenoCarolina replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Actually I just did. Marty just got bussed by SCP in the pinned thread. -
Tryin’ to make a roster out of Fitty cents (A Horn and a tackle)
RenoCarolina replied to SCP's topic in Carolina Panthers
"Marty was as worthless as a g-string bikini in Buffalo" You sir, are a writer, not a Salesman! Glad Buffalo did not steal you either. -
Our old friend Emory Hunt gives his thoughts on NFCS draft
RenoCarolina replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
actually just watched this last night with a youtube search of Panther draft analysis (not much!). I saw Emory and said, "That's the Czar!". Looking sharp too. -
Just out of curiosity did you pick your own screen name?

Hard to stay on topic in a thread SCP made a cameo in but I would say that if a long snapper can be voted in by fans at a pro bowl position he can most definitely be counted as a "starter" when it comes to draft results. https://longsnap.com/2020/11/18/nfl-pro-bowl-long-snappers-now-chosen-by-fan-vote/#:~:text=Since 2004%2C the NFL Pro,long snapper on each team.&text=Fan voting has just started, other position in the game.

If Panthers had only 15-6 guys as a first round rank, if one of those falls into mid 20’s they could go back up
-
Or have Saints trade up to get him

I don't think Ian Rappaport tweeted that at Zod's direction
