  1. Genuine, serious question how was Brees stat padding? I just remember him torching us many a time. Those 2010’s saints teams ran into some dogs in the playoffs, and got screwed out of a Super Bowl appearance in 2018
  2. Re Goff: was WAY worse than Bryce his rookie year. Threw for 1k/5tds/7ints in 7 starts. Went 0-7. Made the pro bowl the next year, took his team to a Super Bowl the next throwing for 4700 32tds 12 ints. Can’t just be putting players in a box 6 or 7 games into their career.
  3. You’re just pushing your narrative dawg. There’s a reason you didn’t respond to me telling you specific instances of him making tight window throws and displaying his arm strength and accuracy. Doesn’t fit your game manager narrative. Go watch some film and try not to let your bias get in the way
  4. I think the way you see Bryce is how a lot of others see him as well. I myself was questioning what happened to his arm talent until the Miami game. But he showcased some arm strength I hadn’t seen until this past Sunday. The throw to Thielen while being hit, off platform, 25 yards on a rope over the middle to Thielen didn’t impress you? He also had a 15 yard comeback to Mingo from the far hash that was a laser. The Thielen touchdown was seriously impressive too, as he threw that ball with touch AND velocity. There were also a couple instances of him throwing completely covered guys open. Game managers don’t take that kind of risk or have that kind of confidence in their arm. Go watch the QB school analysis on him from this week, might help change the way you see him a little.
  5. Former Vikings GM and NFL scout Rick Spielman shares his thoughts on Bryce’s game against Miami, says he “has no doubt Bryce will be a very good quarterback in this league.” Bryce analysis starts at about 1:20. Bonus coverage, gives his take from a GM’s perspective on the Tepper situation “the owner is the boss… you do what you’re told.” Yikes. Starts at 3:50
  6. That’s what they said about Thielen. I say it’s because his quarterback is Jimmy freaking Garoppolo
  7. “Positive only” posters don’t exist. That is a figment of @LinvilleGorgeimagination. ”Negative only” posters do, and they don’t want to see any sliver of positivity, especially regarding our rookie quarterback showing improvement. And they will happily derail a good conversation about football with a good old fashioned “cope harder.”
  8. Hey Frankie Wankie you’re being very confrontational, tone it down a notch. Go watch Bryce’s 15 yard comeback dart from the far hash, it’s so beautiful it will calm you right down
  9. Interesting how once you start really talking football they stop talking football at all
  10. Let me get this straight. Someone posts a clip of probably the most respected football analyst right now reviewing Bryce’s film. In this video he gushes over his accuracy on multiple throws, his anticipation, even his arm strength on a deep out. GUSHES over a couple instances of Bryce throwing completely covered receivers open. And your response is he looks like Teddy Bridgewater, where’s the deep ball, he’s too conservative. anyone who disagrees with me keep on coping. No buddy, people who love and understand the game of football see he is CLEARLY improving week by week, and looks like he can be a very good player in the future. You don’t want to see any of that though, you just want everyone else to be miserable with you.
  11. This is just not true. Our offense is tied for 10th in total first downs. We are 9th in time of possession. It’s not good but it’s not the stagnant offense you’re claiming it is. The offense isn’t the only thing to blame. I would argue the defense has been worse, but we are riddled with injuries so that adds up.
  12. That is extremely telling of our issues. Him altering that plan completely neutered what we had going. Felt like I was watching a different team. Absolutely mind numbing.
  13. Looked like we were up-tempo in the first quarter. Really in rhythm. After that it was back to the same old same old it seemed like. Why go away from the tempo, makes no sense to me Really did feel like we had a different guy calling plays in the first quarter, but Frank says he’s the only one that has called plays all season.
  14. He does not have to “jump shoot” any pass longer than 10 yards lol. Watch the 25 yard flat footed beam he threw to Thielen while being hit yesterday. Hell, watch the deep ball. Does he look like he’s jumping? I do think he is scared to throw a pick on these deep shots, and that’s why literally every single one has been missed long. He doesn’t want a defender to have a chance at it, but he’s not giving our guy a chance at it either. It’s okay to under throw a deep ball especially when the defender is beat. Let the receiver work back to it, or draw a PI. But give it a chance
  15. I pood 1 (one) post because you couldn’t help but bring up your favorite quarterback CJ Stroud. It’s amazing the mental gymnastics you’re doing to spin what I said into an “insult” while your only response ever is “you have mental issues.” I’m literally talking about football, something you just can not seem to stay on the topic of. Need to work on that self awareness bud.
  16. Ffs he must have HELL of an arm to put that 25 yard throw on a rope with that footwork, while being hit. Mini Mahomes!
  17. Football Frankie poo we are talking about football
  18. What did he do after that, sweet little Franklin? Surely he must have passed for 400 TONS of times after that right? That guy sounds incredible I bet he threw for 300 yards every game that season!
  19. We are 6 games in and you have still yet to use a single coherent thought let alone a shred of evidence to support any of your arguments. 6 games.
  20. Ever watched Chark’s release against press? Absolutely terrible. He will let a db put their hands all over him and reroute him. And if he is open that ball better be perfect. Not good for a go route specialist. I think Bryce has started to realize Thielen is his only reliable option, and sadly that has been a good thing for our offense
  21. That’s a good point, I noticed that a little bit too. Maybe that shoulder injury last year was a bigger deal than it seemed? We know all too well what a shoulder injury can do to a quarterback.
  22. Rewatch the game from today, watch all Tua’s deep passes. Clean pocket, plenty of room in front of him. We have probably the worst interior OL in the NFL and pressure up the middle is going to majorly affect a quarterbacks accuracy. You can not just sit there and say pressure doesn’t matter. Pressure is going to majorly impact any quarterback attempting a deep pass. His go ball is definitely off rn and he will have to work on throwing it in tighter spaces. I don’t think he trusts Chark either, who is really our only go ball option.
