  1. I have zero opinion on the likability of either of them. I just pull for the NFC.
  2. Technically, yes, we're in year 3. Year 4 starts in May.
  3. Key thing to remember. Rumors can come from many places and for many reasons.
  4. If you're the boss and you're firing everyone and replacing them with loyalists, you should just close up shop now. That isn't gonna work. You lose, and wind up inciting insurrection.
  5. Tepper strikes me as a results now kinda guy. Even when he was saying it was a 5-year process, I didn't really think he would be that patient. I think he expects a winning record in 2021 and playoffs thereafter. I also think no one in the building thinks Teddy is going to get us there. I don't sense any kind of panic, but I do think Rhule learns from his mistakes and knows he/Brady/whoever made one with Teddy and wants to quickly rectify that.
  6. You cheering for Mac Jones in every post is not gonna do anything but get you blocked by 90% of the board. Just fyi. We get it, you think Mac Jones is the next Tom Brady. No need to keep reminding us over and over and over and over and over and over. That's the move of a 12 year old. Stop acting like a 12 year old.
  7. Pretty confident that teams that are trying to move their QBs are putting out the same info: multiple teams have contacted us about our QB. Subtext: better hurry or he may be gone!
  8. No, some people can care about sports and character. And yes, if some actor I like is discovered to be a pedophile, I'm not watching their movies anymore. I don't want morally questionable people on my favorite sports team, in my favorite movies, singing my favorite songs. Sorry, but winning isn't everything. Thinking it is is actually what's ass backwards.
  9. Now, I'd agree. I'd also argue Trubisky could be quite a bit better if he had good coaching. He also has a better arm.
  10. If the Giants can win TWO with Eli, we could win a SB with Mitch.
  11. Got good reviews for his practices. Dunno how he did in the game.
  12. That still seems a bit dubious to me, though better. Again, being "on" for the camera or press can be a good thing, but it can also be deceptive. Plenty of athletes can turn it on for the public but they're assholes irl. I get what you're trying to do, but it's a hard thing to measure without being able to at least interview the prospects yourself. Good effort, though.
  13. Not sure what interview performances have to do with character, tbh. Cam did some really bad interviews but he's a person of high character. Some people just aren't very comfortable in front of the camera or talking to people. One fairly successful NFL coach comes to mind. Lives in New England.
  14. Of course that's one reason they're saying that. And personally, I don't think he'll be a bust either. But ask the odds makers in Vegas (I'm sure they have odds on this...they have odds on everything) and you'll see Lawrence has very low odds of bust while Lance is closer to 50/50. But hey, not just Lance...all the other prospects are probably close to 50/50. It's a gamble. But Lawrence is the safest bet since Luck. Like Verge demonstrated...Lawrence has a very high floor. All the others have much lower floors...like out of the NFL floors. Nobody believes Lawrence won't be in the NFL in 5 years.
  15. Of course he does. As Verge so visually put it, Lawrence and Lance have very high ceilings. Either could wind up a top 5 all-time QB. But Lance could be a total bust. And while it's certainly possible that Lawrence could bust, the odds are very high that he doesn't. The same can't be said for Lance right now.
