Would love to keep him as guard depth. He's not good on an island in pass protection. Someone will overpay for him because OT.

It's pretty sad when common sense moves make fans excited.

Could be historic, if some folks are right.

I'm all for trading back and picking up picks in this draft. It's deep and we need lots of talent. This is a good draft to get that talent. I think we're gonna see not only solid starters but some possible all-pros come via day 2 and possibly even day 3.

Possibly the craziest draft story you might read

I don't doubt some here probably feel the same way. This is bonkers. -
This entire thread is a dumpster fire of stupid.

Dolphins have received many calls for pick number 3
Pup McBarky replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
1. That NFL rumors account is not one in which I would place a lot of confidence. 2. I'm sure some teams have called about #3, but I'm also pretty confident that Miami has nothing to lose and everything to gain by inflating that number...or at least creating an impression of a larger number. -
REPORT: Mac Jones not high on Panthers QB draft board

When Moton played LT for a couple of games in preseason 2 years ago, I read somewhere (online, but I cannot remember where) that while he played well, he was terribly uncomfortable on the left side and when given the choice, moved back to right. Now, if this is true, moving him to LT isn't an option. He's not signing a long-term contract to play a position he doesn't want to play. I can't think of any other reason we wouldn't have him at LT.

More value to grabbing either Brevin Jordan or Freiermuth in the 2nd...especially if we trade that 2nd back for a later one and pick up a 3rd or 4th.
-
So we can sign a particular ex-tiger?
-
Not at all. Since he'll likely be playing against us, I look forward to Jeremy Chinn breaking him into smaller pieces.
-
Could not agree more. The minute we allow players this kind of nonsense is the minute I stop watching the NFL.
-
Rams, Bucs, Seahawks, Bills. I'm guessing that's the group from which he will sign.
-
Imagine him rotating in with TB. Geez.

Kevin Mawae, one of the best ever, broke a couple fingers on his right hand and practiced and learned how to use his left to snap the ball, both with QB under center and in shotgun. He did okay. Other than that little tidbit, I'm not aware of any southpaw centers.
-
I think Hunter Long will be there in the 4th and we should snap him up.

Surprised at some things: 1. Javonte Williams isn't a top 5 RB? 2. Shaun Wade #4 CB? I thought both Erik Stokes and Asante Samuel Jr. were better. Are you concerned about Samuel's size? 3. No Trevon Moehrig or Andre Cisco in top 5 S? 4. Surprised you have Leatherwood over Mayfield at T. 5. No Centers?

Of all the positions where we have needs, WR isn't one of them. Sure, we could draft one...in the later rounds. We need QB, OT, OG, CB, TE, LB, S. That's an entire draft right there. Unless we trade back and pick up a few extra picks, I can't see drafting a WR unless one we absolutely love falls perfectly for us in round 5 or later.
