Chinn. Also, the guy Pitts said was the toughest player he faced.

Cosmi (9.99!) actually charted higher in RAS. Eichenberg wasn't far behind Christensen.
-
Yeah, I was hoping LT in first, CB in second, then use the 3rd to trade back and get capital to draft a C and G. Apparently, our staff are confident in who we have. I hope they're right but I'm skeptical.
-
I'm thinking Eichenberg or Cosmi have a much better chance at being that anchor than Christensen.
-
I agree. I think we filled some holes, but it may be the picks we passed on that have more impact.
-
I hope you're right. I sincerely hope he becomes Kittle 2.0. In my view, he almost has to in order to justify the pick.

Welp, no fancy introduction. Here we go... 1. Jaycee "Kaylee" Horn, CB - Grade A. Lockdown corner. Was hoping for Sewell, but Horn is a fine alternative. 2. Terrace Marshall Jr., WR - Grade B+. Honestly, thought we had to get a LT here. We traded back and Marshall fell. He's a dynamic weapon and he'll do well in our system. Would be A, but it was a luxury pick imo. 3a. Brady Christensen, OT - Grade B. Um, okay? Filled the need, but passed on what I believe are better prospects. I think Christensen will be serviceable, but was hoping for a long-term anchor. I don't think he'll be that. Sure hope I'm wrong. 3b. Tommy Tremble, TE/HB - Grade D. Really bad pick. Would've been an F were it not for my belief that Brady has plans to scheme for the guy. He's a good blocker and effectively replaces both our FB and blocking TE, but spending a 3rd round on him was too much capital for the return, imo, especially given who was still on the board. 4. Chuba Hubbard, RB - Grade A. Excellent value for 4th round. This guy was probably the best running back outside of Najee Harris and I'm not sure he isn't better. Will be a weapon for years. Allows us to put CMC in the slot or even out wide. Could make for some ridiculous schemes to confuse the hell out of defenses. 5a. Daviyon Nixon, DT - Grade A+. Outstanding value for 5th round. This guy will be starting before the season is over, if not in September. 5b. Keith Taylor, CB - Grade B+. Again, good value for the 5th round. Could be as good as a #2 CB, but may be even better as a Free Safety. 6a. Deonte Brown, OG - Grade C+. Decent value, depending on the guy's attitude. He's a massive mauler who does not move well at all, which is curious, given our blocking scheme. Frankly, surprised we picked him after his disastrous senior bowl performance. 6b. Shi Smith, WR - Grade B-. Again, pretty decent value, but I honestly don't expect him to get a jersey on very many Sundays. Our WR room is about as stacked as it's ever been. 6c. Thomas Fletcher, LS - Grade A. Could we have addressed LS with an UDFA? Sure. Would he have been the best in the country? Absolutely not. This is one of those undervalued positions until you get a couple of flubs. We've been spoiled with J. J. Jansen. This guy will keep us spoiled for another decade. 7. Phil Hoskins, DT - Grade A. This is a perfect 7th round pick...a guy with potential to not only be a contributor, but to be a starter. Will it happen? The guy will have to work his ass off, but he's got some very intriguing tools. Overall Grade: A-. After years of Hurney herp-derping his way through the draft, we saw a GM with actual GM skills at work. He turned 6 picks into 11. It wasn't perfect, imo, but it was nice not to have more head-scratching moves than solid picks. I'm not gonna argue with people about this poo. These are my opinions. I am willing to be wrong and in some cases, hope I am.

What happened to Tay Gowan? That guy was supposed to go yesterday. Anyway, sign his ass up!

I wanted Twyman from Pitt

Now, pick that Northwestern QB and hope he turns into Brady!

Same arm length as Penei Sewell and 1/4 of an inch longer than Rashawn Slater. -
Jevon Holland was taken before we had a chance to pick.

Holland can play CB or S. He's got ridiculous skills. -

I'd rather they stick and draft Holland or Grant. Better yet, trade back and grab an extra pick! -

Cosmi or Spencer Brown. They may trade back, thinking they can get Brown later. Both are outstanding athletes with technical issues, but our staff is supposed to be great at teaching, so we'll see. We may also pick Meinerz at 39 (if he's still on the board) particularly given his ability to play G or C. If we go S or LB, or even DL here, it won't be the end of the world. Plenty of good OL prospects in round 3. Would be difficult to pass on Jevon Holland or Onwuzurike here, since those positions drop precipitously in talent later on. -
We have to go tackle in the second round, right?

Don't be surprised if the pick is... Creed Humphrey. Or if he's off the board... Sam Cosmi or Spencer Brown. All had outstanding RAS scores, which is a metric Rhule loves. -
