Did we get hoodwinked on Miles Sanders
Pup McBarky replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
We may have. We'll have to wait and see. The thing with the Eagles is, that offense can make any RB look like an all-pro. Sanders is good, but I think we overpaid. I hope I'm wrong. -
Draft picks can be extended after the end of their 3rd season, but not before.

Those are two very distinct hopes. I hope he can be the power back we will need. Arian Foster? Don't see that in the realm of possibilities.

This is the Huddle. Stop making sense.

Done Been Ousted. Finally. Bye.

I'll be happy if he signs for less than $25 million/season. I'd much rather he be signed for closer to $20 million. I suspect his agent will hold out for about $27 million...or more, depending on the Bosa contract.

How much should Bryce play in the preseason?
Pup McBarky replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
First half of first 2 games. Maybe one series in game 3. -
Ignore trolls and drama queens. Best practice.

They need to send him over to the Knights and have one of those guys coach him on sliding.

Good. I hope his electricity burns bright for 15 years.
-
Had he played with Brady or Manning, he'd be only trailing Rice...and that's in doubt, especially if he could stay healthy.
-
I'd agree with the Panthers ranking, though I think by the end of the year they'll be top 15. I think Atlanta is better than the Bucs and Detroit is better than Minnesota. A few other quibbles, but overall, a good list.

Anyone who watches the game with more than a casual understanding of football knows Burns is sub-par against the run. He gets a lot of assists from pursuit, which he does well, but as far as stopping the run at the point of attack, he needs improvement. We'll see how that goes this year. I'm hoping he earns that massive contract coming his way.

Well there ya go. I know nothing about White, so there's a great possibility my prediction is completely wrong. It wouldn't surprise me. Wouldn't surprise me to be right. Only surprise would be if Rhule leads them to the college playoffs.

He'll give them hope. His schtick goes well with college-aged guys - all that "one of us" BS tracks right along with the fraternity BS. Kids will eat it up. And Snow's defense will do well for a while too. That will get Nebraska back to above average. His problems will begin when the fans and alumni realize he can't beat top competition consistently. By then he'll have interest from other schools and be on his way again to resurrect some once-proud program from the doldrums of ineptitude and elevate them to the molehills of mediocrity. Rinse and repeat until everyone has finally caught on. Which may take a while.

As someone who went above and beyond giving the guy the benefit of the doubt, this is where I settled. He's an immature guy who appears to have learned precisely zero from his egregious failure.

I'd put money on it.
