That’s the problem again it highly unlikely you’re getting a TE better then Hurst will be for the next 2 years atleast.. Let’s not forget Hurst was a 1st round prospect as a TE and while this draft is deep at the position.. The position alone is a hard transition.. Even if you get Mayers or Kincade they probably won’t be better then Hurst for atleast 2 years..
-
This draft seem to show not a big drop off in the middle.. Only 3 blue chip players then a lot of depth in the middle .. From the middle of round 2 to round 4 you’re getting similar prospects.. So trading down might not be as big a drop off you think..
-
That’s why you brought in Hurst.. I have no problem grabbing a Kunz later in the draft but at this point I don’t see it as a top 3 need or worth spending a high pick on..
-
TE is a difficult transition position.. You shouldn’t expect to get that kind of production their rookie year.. That’s why we brought in Hurst..
-
At this point Hurst has a better chance of producing TE 1 numbers then a rookie.. ppl don’t talk about the transition of TE’s from college to Pro’s being difficult..
-
Love Barno but having a rotation like Philly is very exciting…
-
Not really a Wr 1 potential in this draft after top 3… And TE isn’t that big of a need now and aren’t going to produce TE 1 numbers the 1st year anyway..
-
1. Edge player 2. Cb 3. Quick WR yac guy.. 4. Young Dlinemen to add to the up front rotation.. 5. inside LB depth 6. Big short yardage RB 7. Oline depth
-
Most of my mocks have had good success with being able to go as far as 58 add a 3rd and a 5th and getting some good depth picks..
-
Sweet spot for a Pass rusher or CB in most of my mocks.. or trade down for extra assets…
-
Oh and Preston Williams was a late add and might surprise..
-
None of them.. You can carry more then 5 Wr’s on the roster..
-
Zane got hurt practicing?? agree to disagree..
-
Both look good against air.. We are very lucky that we have our choice of these 2 guys..

3 wR set TMJ x Chark z Theilen Slot..
-
How many good WR’s did Burrows throw to??
-
No he is a solid slot and his biggest asset is his knowledge for the younger WR and a reliable target for a rookie QB.. DJ was a number 1 Wr Theilen isn’t that anymore but that’s okay..
-
They don’t understand how NFL contracts work..
-
This isn’t a good WR core right now and there isn’t a can’t miss number 1 available.. Some of you need to come to grips with that..
-
You’re not finding a number 1 Wr in this draft especially with the 2nd round pick.. Maybe 1 develops but it won’t happen this year.. This is a weak class with most of the talented guy being slot guys and then they will be picked in the 1st round.. So let that dream go.. Or hope that TMJ takes advantage of his opportunity..

-
It doesn’t.. He is going to be your slot safety blanket for your rookie QB.. And a vet teacher for our very young WR room.. Think of him like Ricky Prohel..
-
In a weak WR class???

That’s 1..
