I disagree with the scheme change .. 4/3 olb I agree with your assessment. 3/4 OLB are your pass rushers and they drop in coverage as well so going bargain shopping on that position isn’t the best bet.. With the scheme change OLB has become 1 of the most important positions on the team.. And while I like Barno and Haynes .. I can see a upgrade in the 2nd round this year.. While I don’t see it for the WR position as much..

Guards are strong in the 3rd thru 5th round this year.. Daniels, Patterson and Voshrees (dropping due to injury) plus OC converts like Oulwatimi, Gaines and Stromberg

Good for you.. Okay.. Doesn’t change the fact none of these WR’s are seen as potentially number 1 Wr.. We traded away 1 st round pick and 2 2nd round picks plus a player.. That’s hardly a kings ransoms .. We’re only missing 2 picks from the next 2 drafts.. Kings ransom really?? Last Mahomes , Herbert, Allen, Jackson nor Burrows were seen as generational.. Top 5 in the league.. Neither was Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Manning’s , Rivers, BiG Ben I can keep going??

Just thinking about edge players in the new 3/4 we’re transitioning to and the different type of edge rushers that could be available to us.. What are we looking for more of a power guy or speed guy?? It comes down to both being tweeners. Either smaller DE who played more in a 4/3 or bigger LBer type.. JMO!! aFter the top 4 .. You’re getting similar prospects in the 2nd that you would in the 4th.. I like Downs and Hyatt but I also Like Parker Washington Tank Dell and Charlie Jones as well in the 4th .. And the latter have punt and kick returner on their resumes..

I think edge need depth Oline and Cb.. Right now WR got 5 maybe 6 bodies with experience.. TE got 4 guys and Ricchi who have playing experience.. But these are the positions ppl are focused on..

You not having faith in the depth but then actually having depth are 2 different things.. They actually have depth at WR this year you just don’t trust the players.. Got it.. That’s okay..

Yeah I disagree we need depth no matter what.. You can’t be the person worried about injuries in 1 thread but doesn’t care about depth in another…

Are we really ???? We still have a lot draft assets to be in fug those pick mode?? I know ppl fall in love with the draft and never pay attention to college players until now.. But reality again is.. This isn’t a great Wr draft. You’re not getting Julio Jones, Jamar Chase , or Chris Olave.. You’re not getting a for sure number 1 guy in this draft.. So all talking about trading up.. You’re trading up for similar prospects like TMJ, D Funch and Goodwin.. 1 might develop but you’re not getting that Julio type prospect.. Is it worth it now???

If they get Floyd then this truly becomes bpa draft after the 1st pick and we can go anywhere at that point ..

What helps pass rusher and Cb at that point?? Theieln is your slot WR so you’re adding a player in the 2nd round who most likely will ride the bench unless he is also a kick and punt returner.. I’d rather get a player who will have more impact..

This ^^ Love Flowers but he’s a luxury pick at this point and trading up gets us out of the young pass rusher and probably 3rd round cb market…

So let’s draft small slot Wr in the 2nd round to fix the problem???

And Edge at 39 has a lot of starting quality options.. I honestly think you could trade down 10 to 49 or 50 add extra picks and still get a good edge player..

That’s what I’m telling other ppl here.. After the top 4 guys.. You can get similar talent in the 4th or 5th round..

What do you mean no depth?? We have 5 Wr who are locks to make the roster and 3 of them are here atleast 2 years.. Again if you’re not getting the top 4 Wr.. This draft drops in talent and position flexibility.. After the top 4 you’re looking at a lot of slot small WR.. Not worth spending a 2nd round pick on .. Don’t draft a Wr in desperation trying to force something that isn’t there..

Route running and hands are really good plus he adds punt and kick returner skills which is something we need to add..

I think ppl aren’t really researching this draft.. The draft is deep in small slot guys .. Not to many big number 1 type guys.. Even the 1st 3 to 4 guys in my opinion have questioned marks.. After those Guys (Johnson, Addison, Simth Jb, and Flowers ) will probably be gone before 39 and trading up isn’t like trading up for a Olave, Wilson or Julio.. You’re not getting that type of prospect.. But After the 4 .. There is a drop off and the talent from the middle of round 2 isn’t much different from round 4.. I wouldn’t mind grabbing a Parker Washington or Charlie Jones in the 4th or 5th round.. Or grabbing a TE in later rounds like Latu or Kunz.. But in the 2nd round and 3rd round in most mocks shows a higher talent level in the Pass rusher, Dlinemen and CB positions…

I trust this staff as well but making that pick would really have me taking time off to restore my faith and doing a lot of talking myself into it… Like going thru my moms browser’s history and seeing a only fans account.. I trust my mom but I would give her the side eye for a couple weeks!! Lmao
