    I still have yet to see someone make a coherent case for Watson in return for our present and future. Houston finished 4-12 and that alone raises questions on how much is his actual worth. Sure he is much better than Teddy but that is not saying much.

    In a situation where panthers are seen as “desperate” for a QB it is easy to miscalculate how much is too much. I personally would be happy to trade up in draft for QB with proven skills.

    I would take Fields for half price over Watson at full price. Yes, it’s all about how much we need to give up.

    I want someone who can at least theoretically compete with Mahomes, he will need to if we are to win a SB in the future. Would rather gamble in the draft than get someone who is already falling short of that.

    Just start Walker. He owned Detroit Lions, so that’s something going for him. Keeping Teddy when we are offered mid round picks is throwing good money after bad.

    Rhule or someone said we are going O heavy this year, so that works. We may trade up too so it’s QB, OL and whatever is left.

    Yes starting rookie week 1 with OL being our weakness is 100% wrong. If Rhule goes ahead with this I will say he is a bad coach. If offer for Teddy is lucrative still trade him but start Walker, he can ease back the rookie mid season.

    Tom - not very athletic but gets mentally in the zone at will, superhuman focus Teddy - can run in for a TD but in 4th quarter falls to pieces One is the opposite of the other

    I’m on the fence about a trade because that may mean we have to start a rookie from week 1 which historically hasn’t worked usually.

    This will be interesting, so many teams want a QB. There is no way anyone is revealing their hand at this point.
