    Teddy does look decent in the first half, then collapse in 4 th quarter- some passes are actually behind line of scrimmage. New Orleans team was stacked and carried him, they should give us a 4th rounder this year and try again with their roster much weaker.

    Darnold was signed so we don’t have to choose between Mac at 8 (if all others went before) or Teddy for the season. Still could take Fields if he is there then have plenty of choice and time to decide who is better.

    I felt Teddy would be an expensive marginal upgrade to Kyle Allen, and three year deal as well when it should be just one year. We overpaid by next year’s 4 th by my estimate for Darnold. Teddy is the worse of the two.

    The moves before today were fine. Darnold move jumped the gun before the draft, given up more than fair value in terms of picks and he is more than likely damaged goods at this point.

    Fair price was a 3rd rounder this year and instead the team got desperate. This new GM should do better

    The way I see it lately trading up is not worth the premium. I would cross off that option entirely, we will overpay because teams see panthers as desperate

    I would rather go with PJ than invest into a free agent QB.

    Taking 5th best QB at 8 doesn’t make sense when you can pick the best non-QB option.
