He’s not coming back for those of you who have not let go yet.

Lol you think Wilson is “Far superior” athletically than Willis????
-
Dude is accurate, has a quick release, and is a leader. People knock on his hands but Mike Vick was just fine. I trust whatever decision Fitts and Morgan go with.
-
I was at that game…..for a brief moment, we all had hope that he could be a decent QB that day.
-
You got me. I failed
-
Caption this pic. You know we only draft this kid if the dynamic duo Fitt and Morgan sign off on him.
-
Agreed. I see no way one of them makes it past Seattle
-
I agree on the spot but no way Pickett or Willis last to the 20’s if you have a 1st round grade on a QB teams will trade up for them especially with the top 2 this year
-
I would be down for Baker. He gets too much hate on here but when he’s healthy he can be a very good QB. I can’t believe he even played last year with as bad as his injuries were including his shoulder
-
I’m fine with him or Willis. Sign Fitzpatrick to a one year deal, let the rookies have a true redshirt year, and take over the division next year. We are one LT and one QB away from being a solid team this year…..other than head coach of course

You are delusional man. He had one bad game against Washington but was very much hurt in the game. He was voted a team captain, can work the slot now or be on the outside based off of matchups, is only 26 years old, played the run much better, and has plenty of room to grow. We paid him market value, it’s not like some massive killer deal that cripples the team. He is also the ONLY cornerback in the room that will be making any money at all, as all of our other corners are on rookie deals. Jackson is a fast, young player who plays above average the majority of the time and someone who is a ball hawk. He got paid market value because of that.

I agree 100 percent, we have to keep trying and I’d much rather go with him over jimmy G.
-
I would love it. I would keep swinging until we find a franchise QB and wouldn’t blink twice to still pick a QB at 6 and see who wins out. If we sign a vet LT we only have QB to fill. Draft Willis at number 6 and let him have a true redshirt year to develop as an nfl QB, Minshew starter, Darnold backup, Willis 3rd string and starts next year.

[Sheena Quick] Panthers interested in Eric Fisher
WarPanthers89 replied to SgtJoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have a feeling they want to trade back no matter what. This will open us up a lot to draft a QB in round 2 or ammo to trade back up if a QB on linemen fall closer to the second round that we really like. -
Jimmy G. Who knows if this is true

I was talking about the story itself on our interest (not being breaking news) about meeting Jimmy, not a slight to you in any way for posting it. -

Literally any decent LT FA option would open us up to having complete flexibility with our pick. We would only have one hole (QB) to fill, the rest of the team is looking very solid right now if we land a LT. We could trade back, or really go BPA at number 6 -
He’s talking about the Jimmy G post
-
Lol he would instantly be the best LT we have had since Gross. He is still performing at a high level and is fairly dependable overall. He performed well last season even though the remainder of the line was garbage (see Motons performance this year with terrible play across the rest of the line). It would be a very short term contract so I see no harm here in upgrading a position that is currently in the tank. It would give us a ton of flexibility in the upcoming draft and really shore up our team other than QB and head coach, we seem to be solid across the board with a singing like this.

Old news this is not breaking. Already another thread on it but we have not had recent trade discussions about Jimmy -
Of course this is great. He’s still performing at a very high level. We should have learned that someone proven and performing is much better than potential (see Kalil vs Whitworth). He will be cheaper than Armstead and will give us flexibility to go BPA in the draft and open up so many options. The only MAJOR hole we will then have on our team is QB……and of course head coach.
