    I’ll say this….20 Million for one season will not cripple this team long term and should not alter any future plans of signing/drafting another QB. This should not anger fans because it’s a low risk move other than the cap for that one year (when top QB’s are above 50 million). A long term deal would cause riots at this point, bur 5th year option isn’t really a big deal to me

    No but we should have kept both of them. People complaining about what he got paid can’t say much now because it’s absolutely worth it to get 15 sacks which we could desperately use, especially when you compare it to some of the free agents we have signed to try to replace that production (none of them have come close and we are wasting good money on them)

    Yeah you are correct. I fugged up adding looking at total yards on the site I was using. The debate still remains with overall points scored and efficiently of the offense and defense that year vs now year 2 vs that dysfunctional season with a interim head coach.
