For my depression?

My plan if I was GM: Sign Ryan Fitzpatrick and let him battle it out with Darnold for the starting role so that Corral can have a true redshirt year and take over next season.

My interest was at an all time low this off-season, but Fitt and Morgan have killed it. We have completely revamped our O line, held on to key young talent, and landed the best left tackle in the draft, along with getting a possible franchise QB all while keeping our 1st and 2nd round pick next season. I never dreamed Icky would fall to us…..or that we could get someone like Corral without trading a future 1st/2nd round pick. We now have a young, talented defense, an O line that should be very respectable (Jesus we have a 10 year franchise LT now) and a young QB with first round talent that could be our franchise guy. I am stoked and these moves actually got me out of the funk I was in before. Ahhhhh that magic of the draft. What day Ye huddlers? How do you feel this morning after our draft magic?

@Zod what are your thought on the Corral pick and his chances in the future. Any word on how people within the organization feel after landing both Icky and Corral?

We can call him Golden Corral immediately. @Vergestated for a while that we were very high on Corral and had a first round grade on him so I believe it. We had a dream scenario getting Icky, and for us to not have a 2nd or a 3rd round pick and to come away with Corral is a fantastic scenario.

I wouldn’t blink giving up non 1st round picks for the guy. He has the potential to be a franchise QB. If you take a risk on that and don’t give up a 1st round pick you swing all day

I never dreamed he would be available to pick. Out of all top 3 tackles, I assumed he would be gone no matter what by 6, so last night was a slam dunk. It’s going to be so fugging satisfying to not cringe every game at our line. We have a certified stud who has potential through the roof. We are going from the worst starting LT in the league to one of the best

Yes. He’s better than taking a chance on a 2nd round QB next year. After what we offered for Watson and seeing what we got for Sam I feel a 2nd is worth taking a risk on a rookie QB with the potential that Willis has.

Good. Leave our next years first alone and do what we need to get a QB and we have a team. I’m perfectly fine leaving a rookie QB on the bench for a year….at least we will have hope for the future
