  1. I wonder what the injury update is on Burris? He is solid and we do not have a lot of safety depth as is.
  2. No it won’t. He’s on a rookie deal and you need three good corners. You can pay Jackson and have two studs on rookie deals.
  3. I posted this in the other thread but it is worth repeating: “There was word this summer about the Saints showing interest in a deal for Henderson, but nothing came of those discussions. Things went further with the Panthers and Henderson is now set to move to the NFC South for the rest of his second NFL season.“ We got Horn when the Saints were trying to trade up for him, and got CJ who they were attempting to trade for this offseason as well. Word was that the Jags wouldn’t take less than a 2nd round pick at the time. We got him for a third rounder and received at 5th round pick in return……simply amazing

  6. I bet sports betting has added to the NFL popularity as well. It keeps getting bigger and bigger. I see a draft kings commercial every 5 min on Hulu live
  7. They have no excuse. We lost three starters last week and two were amazing players
  8. Anyone who does not realize that Guard is our weakest position on the line, is not a full time fan.
  9. I really like the core of our team. We have all the promise in the world to seriously compete next season by retaining some of our core players while still managing the cap with our stars on rookie deals. Here are the players we must re sign moving forward. If you do not agree, suck an egg. 1. Haason Reddick - He, along with Burns can be our all star starters/QB killas/run game brick walls for the next two seasons minimum while Burns plays out his rookie deal. 2. Action Jackson - Horn is on his rookie deal and AJ is with us for another season in the slot. Jackson starting the next 4 years along with Horn will be two extremely talented. Young, fast CB’s who can compete with anyone. 3. Jermaine Carter - Wow. What a difference he has been compared to Whitehead last year. He is as underrated as they come, and should come at a discount. I will feel much better at LB with him and Shaq playing together the next 2-3 years. Honorable mention: DJ Moore - this goes without saying. I would have added him in if he wasn’t already under contract for his 5th year option. Daquan Jones - What a difference he has made to our D line. He does not have eye popping stats, but has freed up Brown, Burns, and Reddick to be able to go crazy. Don’t underestimate his value to Shaq being able to go sideline to sideline.
  10. CMC being out hurts us, but I feel we can become a better team if Sam is able to perform well and continue to develop during his absence. The Horn injury absolutely sucks and is a much bigger loss in my opinion.
  11. Report: Jaycee Horn likely facing 2-3 month recovery with broken bones in foot The Panthers had several players go down with injuries in Thursday’s victory over the Texans and there’s a little more clarity on what one of them is facing for his recovery. According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Carolina fears cornerback Jaycee Horn broke multiple bones in the metatarsal area of his foot. Surgery is an option for Horn and he’s likely looking at a two-to-three month recovery period. That would put Horn back on the field either late in the season or the injury could be season-ending. Head coach Matt Rhule had said after Thursday’s game that the fear was Horn broke “a couple of bones” in his foot. But at that point, the head coach was unsure of Horn’s potential recovery time. The Panthers selected Horn with the eighth overall pick in this year’s draft and he has lived up to the billing. The cornerback played nearly every defensive snap of Carolina’s first two games before playing 67 percent of them in last night’s contest. He left the game early in the third quarter. Running back Christian McCaffrey and safety Juston Burris also had to exit Thursday’s game with injuries, though it’s currently unclear how much time they’ll miss. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/09/24/report-jaycee-horn-likely-facing-2-3-month-recovery-with-broken-bones-in-foot/
  12. I am an idiot and didn’t read the other threads. Delete if needed
  13. Insane calls. That does not change the fact that our offense as a whole has serious problems without cmc, but the refs still suck ass tonight.
