  1. But any quick glance at his contract should tell you why he's not tradeable.
  2. Teddy's contract is structured in a way its easy to move on after this season. Restructuring would only change that. Only reason for that is iff he plays and plays great and we want to keep him. Shaq's contract is already structured in a way he can be cut at time with some cap relief. Every year it gets a little easier and and with more relief so I wouldn't touch it unless you know you want to keep him around longer. I'm not sure that's the case.
  3. Nobody knows who will be better and fan predictions are irrelevant. You can be wrong and it doesn't matter.
  4. Yeah, so far these are pretty common sense moves. It appears to be possibly for the purpose of an aggressive move but cutting Short, Boston, Palardy isn't ground breaking. Just sound.
  5. I didn't find the season miserable at all but I'm not a pessimist. Misery is your state of mind.
  6. Yes it's speculation. The words potential and if make that clear.
  7. Everybody wants a HOF qb. Shocking its not as easy as just demanding it happen,
  8. Because building an entire line in one offseason is difficult.
  9. The teams are the one's who want the salary cap to drop because they don't want to lose money. The players are the ones who want it to be higher as they want new contracts to go up.
  10. One could argue they cant spend a draft pick on a QB at this point. Though maybe Fontenot will bring the Saints cap magic
  11. The majority of posters here were giddy about Boston being resigned and were almost begging for it. Unfortunately the search function doesn't work here going back that far.
  12. they have until mid July to negotiate a long term contract when tagged
  13. It's difficult to get a great QB. No surprise. There aren't many.
  14. Less then 1 million saved. They must have had fun grading him last season. He's bad.
  15. Those are rather common sense answers.
  16. Tepper hasn't said a single public word about Watson or trading for a QB. What he said about the position was in reference to Seattle in "Doesn’t hurt to have a quarterback that can take you there...” y'all are judging him based on people like Joe Person commenting on what he thinks Tepper thinks
  17. Are you trying to define things in terms of fantasy football terms? There's roughly 10 WR1. Teddy isn't throwing TDs so we aren't going to be fielding any of those while that is the case. Moore was the closest though via yards. Using fantasy terms doesn't seem like the best way to judge Moore (or Samuel).
  18. The exact QB in question is on a 4-12 team. A team who didn't have a first round pick 2 of the 3 years since he was drafted and is lacking in talent elsewhere. So either he isn't elite enough or your mantra isn't valid.
  19. I'd like to keep him. I don't see how he can be a priority though. Someone will overpay him and he should jump at that money.
  20. It is. Though very few seem to understand even the basics of the cap and we have several neat little online tools which spell it out. And it's really not that complicated. The only way it's a possibility is to wait until after June 1st. Which isn't going to happen if they even trade him.
  21. Sounds like Wentz is a pain in the ass and the Colts were the only one's who found him worth the headaches.
  22. If it's Alzheimer's then I'm genuinely sorry but damn dude. Hope you get paid by the thread.
