  1. LOL. I dare you to say something positive about the team.
  2. He made the Pro Bowl as a special teams player that year.
  3. Put your pads on and do it. It's easy.
  4. Seems some here have been working in sheltered low expectation environments. Comparing an IT department to a professional sports team and how they operate is apples and oranges. First people complained at the notion that Rhule doesn't fire assistants now they are complaining that he's demanding. The common thread is that these people are going to complain regardless. It literally doesn't matter what the topic is.
  5. Sports just suck when it gets to the point where fans can't enjoy unless their teams win a championship. This seems to be a new phenomenon. Everyone wants to win. The entertainment aspect comes from the pursuit and nice days sitting in the stands with fellow fans.
  6. He still works for Rhule so I guess he's not impossible to work for. In before people complain about this.
  7. You have no idea how to read a contract. Bridgewaters' signing bonus cap hit doesn't disappear when he's traded we still get his bonus proration hit on our cap but all at once. Then in the same vein, Jimmy G's signing bonus doesn't hit our cap regardless so saying he has no guaranteed money is irrelevant if we trade for him. That's true of any player acquired by trade. If he plays for us his 800,000 per game roster bonus and 600,000 workout does hit our cap. Given they have similar salaries we would be hit with Teddy's prorated bonus just to switch to a similarly salaried turd.
  8. I didn't read past the first post saying it was player for player. Is there something saying picks would be involved? Ythey have comparable contracts the remainder. I don't see significant play or contract advantages for either team
  9. What you are saying is obvious bullshit. They didn't reduce the reps of their first round selection for covid protocol. That doesn't make a lack of sense on any level. If you aren't active you aren't second on the depth chart. Second on the chart means one simple thing. That you go in when the 1 doesn't play.
  10. The Packers will bend over backwards for Rodgers. Drafting Love and him being such a disappointment is a reality check.
  11. Exactly. From college to the NFL Trubisky has been short gamer. He's one of the few who has consistently been statistically less aggressive than even Teddy the whole way. Yet people who hate Teddy for that yet say they would take Trubisky (Tar Heel fans) don't want to accept that fact.
  12. I am 100% not trying to down play Lance. I just think things are completely out of whack because people are QB crazy right now. Wentz is a good example of how he could go high in contrast to my previous statements. He wasn't all that impressive at NDSU but at least he was able to be vetted in person. I wouldn't completely hate Lance at 8 but would be much happier if he was to be available at a much more realistic pick that we trade down to.
  13. The "worst QB in the NFL to date" would get a 3rd or 4th? Which is it?
  14. I should and meant to say have said "shouldn't". I see top as top 10. Jordan Love was much more experienced and was considered a reach at the bottom of the first last year. Haskins was considered a reach at 15 the year before. Jackson was considered an end of round 1 at best in 2018. Mahomes was a 3 year starter and was selected at 10 in 2017. In 2016 Prescott with 4 years in the SEC and 3 years starting and comparable stats went in the 4th. That's 5 years of observations and comparisons that suggest Lance in the top 10 is an enormous gamble based on recent history. Those guys experience dwarfs his.
  15. I think when you already know it will take a time, and he didn't pass much, or play good competition it's a good indicator that he's not going to get drafted at the top of the first round. It's complete wishful thinking.
  16. You could also argue that lack of in person contact with prospects will make teams a bit more conservative. Scouting will be limited to game tape. Some have much less. I can see where a guy like Lance falls a lot. Not a predination but a thought.
  17. Watson is the much better QB. And he has a contract. Newton doesn't get extra credit for getting in trouble and transferring to community college.
  18. Newton should be asking Watson for advice.
  19. I think QAnon is making up trade proposals now. We should know by now that internet speculation isn't real life.
  20. Most trades happen just before they pick. How is that risky? When the player is there the trade is arranged.
