    I can't argue with people wanting to do what is best for themselves. However, this will make the NFL difficult for me to put much effort in to following going forward if it shifts towards the NBA model.

    His in the final year of his contract and is 31 year old with diminishing abilities. Releasing him has zero negative cap impact on them and every cent owed to him this year they will save. Would it kill you to have the slightest amount of knowledge of how these things work? It would save you from looking ignorant.

    I agree. People are going out of their way to see some grand strategy that likely doesn't exist.

    Adamantly telling teams they aren't accepting them doesn't sound like it would serve their interests if it's not true. It's in their interest to get more offers, not fewer. Sometimes the simple explanation if front of you that everyone involved is giving you is possibly the truth.

    Seems the biggest mistake would need to be wiffs on picks in top rounds. I would say that would be Butler or Little.

    I think you missed the point. They lost the game despite this because the situation matters.

    Browsing the draft grades for Mahomes most gave them a B or B+. So lets not pretend everybody or anybody saw what was coming.

    Did you listen to anything the guy said? He said they aren't listening to offers. That could change. Also he's assuming logical offers not absurdities that won't happen.

    Nobody is saying that. The win would have never put us ahead of the Jets in the draft order. Where did you come up with that?

    YGM at 14? Not sure about that. How does he go ahead of Chinn when he showed just enough to say he might have been worth his second round selection?
