That is assuming that opposing teams flip their DE's in order to play a left handed QB. Is that common or do they keep their guys where they typically play. I know some pass rush specialists move around but do they all?

They aren't betting the franchise on him. They acquired him in a modest trade.

Riot report breakdown how generational is Sewell
Moo Daeng replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
It never directly addresses the question posed in the title but it seems he's not generational. That's a bit extreme and thrown around way too much. -
What Are the Chances of Sewell Actually Dropping to us?

I'm feeling a relatively balanced draft. The needs aren't as one sided this year IMO. Hopefully we finally have a GM and Coach who care about the offensive line.

Good catch. This is $3.55 million more space. This puts us better than average in cap space most likely (I'm not researching every teams Jun 1 cap designations) and better than the mean.

Teddy frees up 2.9 million at the least and 17.9 million at most depending on whether he's traded or cut and when.

Or anyone else

Alex Smith displeased with how he was handled in Washington

I would have been scared to death to play a guy hobbling around on a massively reconstructed leg and missing a noticeable portion of his calf muscle to. That's hardly an indictment on a coach who was accused of not caring about players injuries when here. Cue Mister Scot -
It just doesn't seem like the year to be getting in to the inflated market for the QBs that are there. High demand doesn't make them better prospects.

Cam might become a great passer or he will continue as he has been.

Now instruct your mods to enforce this or it will be the same as usual

People absolutely overrate Lance

POV: You are Joe Brady. What do you want in the draft?

Pitts and a LT -
I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't summon the crew when the positive replies are too high. It's always the same group that shows up when the mood in a thread is optimistic. They don't post otherwise

Unless he's traded

We will find out in a week

Other than trading years of drafts away for someone like Watson how would drafting any QB high be doing anything other than hope? Really really wanting a good QB doesn't make any prospect better. Year after year people play this game where only top 5 picks can be good and year after year we see how wrong that's is. Why do we never learn? Is it amnesia?
