    We attempted to traid for Stafford and then a bunch of rumors about a guy who was never actually on the trade market. Rumors that don't jive with anything that we did later in terms of valuing draft picks. Clearly spin on that take.

    We have a lot of potential pieces to throw at the opposing QB from different levels and alignments. On paper it's looking interesting. There's a good mix of stout and finesse.

    Im optimistic because the overwhelming majority of voices external to here see potential in the change of scenery. I have to give some consideration to how widespread that sentiment is. He has the tools and the mindset. It's no skin off my back to be an optimist about sports.
