He's been 30th, 22, and 28th in his 3 seasons. I don't think that makes him top 5. I suppose the math could do some weird things when you do a 3 year ranking but that doesn't seem likely when the top guys seem to be the same every year.

I knew somebody would make this about Rivera. Though both have roots much longer than his tenure. Expecting thought is expecting too much -
How do we downgrade from a player on another team? He broke 30 once. His career high is 33. He typically throws mid 20s.

If Bosa had been healthy last year he would arguably be at the top as well.

YGM doesn't have anything to slump from. He's promising but it's not like he had a big rookie year.

In 95 we went from nobody in every position group to actually having position groups. On paper.

5 Carolina Panthers rookies who could steal starting jobs in 2021

It wasn't uncommon for us to start 3 WRs last year so it's likely Marshall does get some starts. Taylor, nah Nixon, nah, Tremble, sure depending on what they are doing in a particular game Brown, not completely crazy to think he gets a start for various reasons. Also not out of the question he barely sees the field -
If anything I can see Pride making more of an impact as someone with a year of experience and not being required to do as much. He certainly didn't look like a lost cause in anyway to me.

I can see Chinn having fewer tackles but that doesn't make it a slump it is due to some better players around him. I don't see the others being slump candidates because they aren't starters. They can be better players and contributing more quality without the quantity.

Panthers PJ Waker Ranked 25 Among NFL Backup Quarterbacks

I'd forgotten that people like the draft more than the games. You all wanting to compromise the season before training camp begins to talk draft order already.....sigh -

How do you ever become a legit contender if anything you do to improve can be considered wrecking your draft status. You don't play football for draft order. -

Teddy wasn't moved on from simply because of arms strength but because of timidness and not executing the offense as Rhule and Brady wanted. Tom Brady doesn't have a huge arm but he has always been aggressive and a good downfield thrower despite not having a prototypical hug arm.
