One play in a guys first pre season game doesn't doom his career.
-
I don't believe you watch games any more
-
Glad you guys could make a Lance thread another place to repeat yourselves for the umpteenth time about Darnold. Good job.
-
I'm not at all piling on Lance but he does have sn awkward motion. That doesn't mean anything but it was noticeable with nfl film angles compared to NDSU
-
He looked uncomfortable and awkward. As is expected given his situation. But to pretend he didn't doesn't change it.

35.7 Watch him.. https://youtu.be/sW3uhFenWlY

He looked like a guy who hasn't played in years. It's good they don't plant to start him. He has the tools buy needs time. https://youtu.be/sW3uhFenWlY
-
Dude. He completed 35.7 % of his passes.

Who was that posted who always made humorously premature reactionary threads in reaction to games? Was it Sean Paytons Vicodin? Lol

People lose their poo in judgments to every one of them. Even the cherry picked quotes when you can easily read or watch entire transcripts to get the full picture. I don't understand spending your day on the Huddle hand ringing over tweets but not reading articles or watching interviews before getting bent out of shape.

Think it was Burns who said it settled down and they got in good practice. Rhule said players were hugging after practice. It seems to have been exaggerated by social media.

There's already a week off between preseason and regular seaaon. He didn't say it was to give them a game off. He said it was to look at the non starters because they have cuts on Tuesday. Does anybody listen to interviews or read the articles?

It's really hard to get a clear picture of anything based on tweets. They're too short, the people making them have bias and they want to get attention. Twitter turns every sentence in to something you are supposed to have some side you need to take on it. It's concerning most aren't aware of how limited a view you are getting from them.

I remember when people waited until at least playing a preseason game if not longer before going off the rails with doomsday predictions of the season. Typically after the 3rd.

I remember this story from the Panthers v Dolphins in 2015. Best offense we ever had.. Good practice to be waken up and given learning opportunities.
-
Not even insulting Newton but facts were he had no receivers and a hobbled arm. The Cam is a victim of everything always forever holds no water.
-
Is it that out of the ordinary to think tge odds might be against him the first year? I just give the odds of not a slight advantage
-
I think things get much more interesting once camp concludes and daily practice in town cranks up.

The closest thing to a must-win game in years?

Making any judgments about anyone in August is silly. How many years are we going to do this before learning?
-
I don't know. I think not.

Young promising player. That is what I make of him. I expect him to be significant part of the rotation.

Why?

Being on the bench would make no difference even if true. You are supposed to be smarter than that.
