  1. these are the same people who pushed trading the team for Watson and made comments about every single pickup that wasn't an All Pro QB. They don't see the holes in their logic.
  2. The airbrushed custom tailgating trailer with family portraits on the side was odd. Was there one made for every nfl team?
  3. Years ago I saw I'm order...Beurlein, Morgan, Jenkins, Rhys Lloyd, Smitty out in random public. A subtle nod and smile was all I felt was necessary. I don't blame people for tastefully approaching players, etc. Just not for me. Oh, I saw Remmers while I was on a bike camping tour around Oregon the week before camp in 2015. It was at a bagle/coffee shop. I didn't say a word but thanks when he held the door for me. It took a minute to place him but big dude, beard, giant truck with Oregon State plates. Afterwards I signed up for Twitter to see if he was near. I commented on his most recent Tweet and he replied I should have said something about being a Panther fan. Seemed a nice guy and I hated the personal stuff he got here after that. Boring story I know
  4. "(It) came about when I was in little league," he said. "It was my first ever real number I had when I won a championship when I was 5 years old.
  5. Same info from every other source who has mentioned how this unfolded.
  6. He's older than Jaycee. He's not calling him Unc in reference to you....lol
  7. I would never approach a player anywhere for any reason. You are bound to be disappointed.
  8. Uncle seems the obvious interpretation. He's an older guy who played same position at the same school.
  9. My friends who have left or want to leave have gone to the mountains, etc. All are fortunate to work from home. That's a big difference.
  10. I'm not trying to argue this. I do miss living there and would consider it again other than the price of housing now. However, most everyone I know left or wants to leave as soon as they can. Granted most everyone of these people grew up there, moved there in the late 90s or early 2000s and wish it was 20 years ago. I can see how it is attractive to people with wealth.
  11. Suffice to say he's been pursuing things and as he said teams aren't budging on offensive lineman.
  12. I can't remember if it was Rhule or Fitterer but one of them alluded to the idea of one of our many CBs and the safety position going forward. Probably Fitterer as he was seeming to say a little more and be a little less vague yesterday.
  13. Fitterer, Pat Stewart, & Samir Sulayman seem to be a very strategic and well connected group running tge front office. They know everyone and have a way to get things done. It's could be a lot of fun watching these guys maneuver.
  14. If we lose him in 2022 offseason then we get the comp in 2023.....but yeah.
  15. He has been a fantastic tackler. It'd been very noticeable
  16. I'll be proven wrong but I can't imagine he is tempted to play again.
  17. Well Damn! I suppose the desire for elite CB is even stronger than I thought after being surprised by the Henderson trade. I didn't see this as a possibility but I will stop guessing what this team will do.
  18. It wasn't comical but it is fictional. Captain Munnerlyn was drafted 4 months after this. Ken Lucas and Chris Gamble were the two corners in that game
  19. I don't really see the angle on why this would or should happen.
