Yep, our cap situation for 2023 SUCKS!  At this point, the 2022 roster is what it is.  Adding another player or two isn't going to tip the scales to make us dramatically better.

yes but we can get a lot of money by cutting under performers - Robby, Shaq, Elfein and others

  2. Do you think there would be any chance the Browns do a swap? They have identical salary and I would think the Browns just want Baker off the team to get rid of any distraction (even though Watson is also one).

How do you know a guy like Penning or maybe Cross won’t be there? Either of those guys could very easily be available at 13. People are acting like picking in the top 6 is the only way to get a starting LT.

I think Penning could, but you're taking a huge risk. What if the top 4 OT are off the board at 13? Then what do we do?

  4. makes no sense. our only monster holes on this team are LT and QB. thats it, nothing else. we have a chance to fill a hole @6 and take a LT. there is no QB in this draft worth taking a chance on. dont trade back just to select mediocre talent.

  5. I did three mocks and only one time each. I went in with three mindsets.

We are in love with an OT and are not risking trading back for more picks and hoping our guy falls.

    ·         6. Ikem Ekwonu; OT North Carolina State

    ·         137. Charlie Kolar; TE Iowa State

    ·         144. JT Woods; S Baylor

    ·         149.Terrel Bernard; LB Baylor

    ·         199.Justin Shaffer; OG Georgia

    ·         242.Zach VanValkenburg; EDGE Iowa

We are in love with an QB and are not risking trading back for more picks and hoping our guy falls.

    ·         6. Kenny Pickett; QB Pittsburgh

    ·         137.Alec Lindstrom; OC Boston College

    ·         144.JT Woods; S Baylor

    ·         149.Cade Mays; OG Tennessee

    ·         199.Grant Calcaterra; TE SMU

    ·         242. Zach VanValkenburg; EDGE Iowa

We are not in love with anyone at 6 and we are trading back for picks. (In this mock I understand you can trade back here and still end up with Willis or Pickett, but that was not my intention and I do not think realistic in the draft.)

    ·         14. Jordan Davis; DT Georgia

    ·         45. David Ojabo; EDGE Michigan

    ·         47. Tyler Linderbaum; OC Iowa

    ·         149. Cade Mays; OG Tennessee

    ·         199. Marcus Jones; CB Houston

    ·         242. Olakunle Fatukasi; LB Rutgers

  6. The pitch is actually easy.

If we resign Reddick and Gilmore - we have an elite defense and you wont have to carry us.

You have Moore, Anderson, and CMC - three guys most teams would love. Anderson is a great deep threat for Rodgersand we have a young Marshall he would end up loving. Devante Adams was a second round pick too and the 9th WR drafted that year. He is not the top WR in the game if he's not playing with Rodgers. There are more than enough weapons here. You also have a young TE and RB. If CMC plays more in the slot the offense is gold with Rodgers.

Yeah - our O-line blows but he's probably played behind the same and that will be our mission in the offseason for you.

Everyone said Winston failed because their O-line and they went out and added one piece. Surprise surprise. Brady turned them all into pro bowlers.

That said, Rodgers is a prick and why i'd jump for joy if we got him, I wouldn't care if we didn't.

  7. The only QB I would give a chance on is Pickett and thats after he's looked at more combine, etc. He can skyrocket. I know there are prob a lot of UNC fans here, but as an outside Howell is a dog and the next Baker.

I am fine staying at 6 finally getting an OT and 2022 is just going to be a lost year.

Ideally, we find a way to move in the early teens to pick up a 2nd and grab a C and G in the first two rounds.

I highly doubt we will get any of the top three but out of those three, Rodgers makes the most sense just simply of the connection between him and Macadoo but Rodgers has stated he dont want to go to a rebuild.

Wilson more than likely will end up in New Orleans is my guess.

    Watson wants to follow Flores.

I am curious where Macadoo ranks the QB class this year. He does seem to have a knack for finding QB takent. My bet will be he will be high on Pickett.

Jimmy G could be a decent fit for this offense.

I just wonder if Shanahan really is that good and makes Jimmy G.

Rodgers is an idiot. If you have Rodgers you aren't rebuilding. Tampa was rebuilding then they got Brady and the rebuild was over.

  10. Do we make a trade and give of draft capital?

    1. Aaron Rodgers

    2. Deshawn Watson

    3. Russell Wilson

    Do we draft someone?

There is no stud prospects this year, but it does not mean someone will not be. Probably not worth it at #6 though.

    Do we run it back?

    1. Sam Darnold

Or, do we trade for a shmuck and at best become a 7th seed?

    1. Kirk Cousins

    2. Jimmy G
