  1. Corall starting this year would be pure desperation, he’s a third round rookie qb. Unless he is a miracle then we would just be giving up this year, our team is talented enough for the playoffs. Baker is the best qb we’ve had in the past 5 years. Also, our staff gets to watch Corall in camp and gets a year with him so they would be much more educated then us if he’s ready or not.
  2. Praying Darnold shows something in camp and breeds some kind of competition.
  3. There’s nothing wrong with a 3rd round rookie QB riding the bench for a year.
  4. We traded Kyle Allen for an actual non conditional 5th rounder, best QB should play regardless of this trade.
  5. Honestly happy with this! Keep pounding!
  6. One would hope, Wilks being back here is a big reason why I’m an optimist about our defense.
  7. Personally I see 8 winnable games next year, maybe I have my rose tinted glasses on but I’m really optimistic about our improvement on the o-line. Saints are overrated this year, Falcons are legit the worst team in the league. I think we’re going to have a better record then last year that is my hot take.
  8. Great video on the current and future state of our team/assessing all our moves this off-season.
  9. Gonna go with Shaq, he has blossomed into one of our teams leaders and has really developed his coverage instincts. You can really sometimes see how Luke rubbed off on him with some of the play recognition interceptions he has.
  10. Corall could turn around our franchise if he does indeed pan out, but let’s hamper expectations for his initial impact he’s still a third round pick going into his first season. Let him and Sam battle it out for the starting role, no need to throw Corall into the fire yet.
  11. Cam($5) Deangelo(3$) Curtis($1) Robby($1) Greg Olsen(5$) Reasoning, Cam is by far our greatest QB and 2015 Cam was nearly unstoppable. Also, that year he made the most out of a bad group of WR’s so Curtis and Robby even at $1 would be a big upgrade. Pairing Cam back up with prime Olsen who was his primary target anyway would give us the best offense in the league. Especially with prime D WILL fuging the league up with Cams RPO upside.
  12. Really hoping for Nixon, he needs more development but he has the length and athleticism to push the pocket. Hopefully he recovers soon and can further his craft!
  13. Totally agree! Especially with our run blocking we have some real movers in Icky, Moton, Bozeman, and Corbett. If Brady Christensen can play up to his potential then this line could be set up very well into the future! I’m personally very high on Christensen and think he’s an awesome dude I’m genuinely excited about this group!
  14. Best in depth video out there!
  15. Minicamp news doesn’t mean much, coaches rarely pencil in the rookie at a starter position this early. Which is normally to motivate said rookie to work harder rather then have them think their being handed a role.
  16. Honestly I probably took something you said out of context, reading back I have very similar opinions. Hope all is well, thank you for the banter.
  17. I clearly misunderstood you as I have realized I actually agree with what your saying, I probably got carried away with seeing everyone trash Curtis with no real justification.
  18. For starters Robby didn’t even start producing in the NFL until he was 25, Curtis is 25 right now with even more room to grow in terms of his route tree. The NFL has changed, these distinctions of oh he can’t play X so he can’t be a WR1 are days of the past. Deebo is the perfect example so thank you, he is a RAC machine who might not fit the stereotype WR1 but is damn well a WR1 and a great one at that. Also Robby is just as limited if not more then Curtis, Robby is one of the weakest WRS I’ve watched in a while he struggles against press man mightily, he is as you say just a deep threat and he is more isolated to that role then Curtis is to a gadget player. Curtis produced great in the slot for us and as a RAC guy, Curtis is a very similar player to Deebo and in a Shannahan scheme he could probably be a WR1. I’m not saying in these current Mcadoo scheme that’s nessesarily possible for Curtis currently, but he is more of a WR2 then Robby is currently as well. Yes your right they could coexist on the same feild, they pair well but Curtis is the better pass catcher which indeed makes him the WR2 rather then Robby.
  19. The #1 receiver is more of a title than a position. I would say that your #1 receiver is the receiver who would get focused on by the opposing defence, as he is the most dangerous weapon for the passing game. It could be argued, for example in san francisco with Kittle, that even a tight end could be a team's number one receiver. Being wr 1 does not mean their just the X or the Y/F/Z. Also just so you know Robby is not even an X receiver, he doesn’t have the strength to beat off press man so he is limited himself.
  20. Please trade him he’s such a diva except he can’t actually catch.
  21. Dude wtf are you talking about, it doesn’t matter where you line up at to determine whether your a WR1/2/3/whatever the fug. Have you not watched any football in the last ten years? Look at Cooper Kupp, Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams etc, their all bonafide WR1’s who line up in the slot very frequently if not majority snap count. Every statistic I have showing Curtis Samuels superior efficacy metrics vs Robby. Curtis is more of a WR2 then Robby if anything Hes more efficient thus making him a SUPERIOR WR.
  22. Freezing cold take here dude, I’m going to statistically dismantle this. Robby this past season(in 17 games- 110 targets, 53 receptions,519 yards, 6.4% drop percentage, 50.5 rating when targeted, 48.2% catch percentage.) Now here are Curtis Samuels stats his last season here(in 15 games- 97 targets, 77 receptions, 851 rec yards, plus 200 rushing, 5.2% drop percentage, 109.2 rating when targeted, 79.2 catch percentage.) Curtis was more efficient and far superior in every receiving metric there is while also being a highly efficient RAC and in rushing downs. Curtis was a blast to watch on this team and the slander y’all give him is so unwarranted and so confusing why.
  23. Heck yeah if he’s cut I would love to bring Curtis back! Also besides last season Curtis has not had a history of injuries. Injuries happen to everyone, dudes a baller and has proved that. No joke you put him with Kyle Shannahan and he’s a pro bowler. Curtis > Robby
