Sure, Kansas City and Houston went in 2019 and 2021 successfully and got LTs who both made the Pro Bowl in 2019 and 2020. You say that as if no LT who has talent ever gets traded in the NFL lol. This logic is why Cam got murdered for 8 years here.

Things change when a darling is 2-6 at the trade deadline and has cap hell coming from big contracts. Every player has a price, offer 2 1sts and a 2nd and a bad team with a legit LT might listen.

As far as we can see, we may have stolen a Franchise QB from the NYJ... He is on his last two years of a rookie contract, why not go all-in and give some legit capital for a REAL LT? I believed before the season our defense was Super Bowl contender caliber, our WRs and RB are clearly legit... The biggest ? was Darnold and O-line... Barring a complete collapse, Darnold's passed so far. I don't care if we go 17-0, we saw in SB 50 what happens when you $ick around with $hitty LTs, if at the deadline Darnold looks solid, trade the damn 1st next year and the year after that and get us a LEGIT LT. If Darnold is truly a franchise QB, those are valued at 2-3 1sts anyway, why would you not trade 2 picks (Where history shows 1 in every 2 or 3 is a bust anyway) and fix the only real damn problem with this team? Every year we had Cam, someone was trading capital for pro bowl LTs at the deadline while we sucked on our thumb and I'm sick of it... Quit worrying about Rookies and fix glaring problem we've had since Gross retired. Maybe it's just me, I would rather trade our next 2 1sts and a 2nd and know LT is fixed then worry about drafting a damn rookie. Don't let this line fool you, CMC is masking it's deficiencies at the moment, we need to fix this or Darnold will go back to his NYJ days... Time to quit waiting for rookies to save the day and have some damn balls.

To all the experts who said we are no better than 4 wins

Saw it coming 100 miles away when Cam was being pulled for hail Mary plays. When Sam Darnold has career altering rotator cup surgery, we can talk. Defense is legit. -
I don't think under any scenario (Barring 2-3 pick 6 or deep in our territory)should we lose this game. If we lose, Phil Snow needs to be fired... This Jets team is missing key offensive pieces, is starting a rookie QB against a brand new head coach... Phil Snow has been given a top 10 defensive roster, unless we lose like 12-7, this loss will be on the defense if we lose.

NFL Network says Darnold worst starting QB in the league.

The worst QB in the leauge throws a dump off pass on 4th and long. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather the ball be picked. -
Jones showed up to practice while Newton was out for 5 days, that's why he won the job. Cam Newton made a bad choice not to get vaccinated and bill made him pay.

Too many people on this board are convinced 2015 Cam is going to walk out of the locker room somewhere and we are going to look retarded. Step in Matt Rhules' shoes for a second, he opted to cut a former MVP for Teddy Bridgewater... Take Cam Newton's name out of it, no new HC gets rid of a 100% healthy generational talent for no reason. Let it sink in for a second... Ron Rivera gave A 6TH ROUND PICK for KYLE FREAKING ALLEN while Cam was on OUR ROSTER! Cam is done, I just hope he retires before he is remembered as a journeyman.

I would worry little about that, the Saints couldn't do it more then once with a HOF QB.

Official Pittsburgh Steelers at Carolina Panthers Gameday Thread

Panthers O has bad Qtr because the best RB in our history doesn't play with vanilla play calling due to preseason. I guarantee you O-line gets relief when CMC plays. Huddle: seasons over! -

The O-Line sucks, but keep in mind they won't be able to get the same pressure if CMC was getting Reps. Dump off all day for 15 yards, calm the hell down, it's the preseason. -
And I don't blame you for not spending $120k. I bought 3 PSLs from the Panthers for $600 a piece and literally paid like $50 a month for 4 years, so I literally had no concern about it. I legit like to go to every game, so I get my use out of them. If I want to have a premium experience, I will just sell my tickets and go on Ticketmaster and buy tickets in the lower bowl, typically sitting in the lowers loses it's luster after two or three times imo. Typically the only time I bother investing in Lower level seats is if I'm going to a road game, as upper level at any NFL stadium 9/10 times has the rowdiest fans in the building. The issue with the logic "You can just buy tickets 3 hours before." Not in every scenario, I typically like to invite people who don't get to go to NFL games much to go with me, so it's easier to do knowing I have tickets. You're also not taking into account, that 2019 was the last year the Panthers were willing to issue ANY physical tickets (And you had to pay $50-$100 for this thin flimsy paper ticket), so now in 2021, there will be no more people outside scalping, if someone resales it will be on stubhub or NFL ticket exchange, so you'll have more competition for getting tix. I also seriously doubt you paid less then face value for the NFC Divisional Round and Championship in 2015 (You probably had to spend $500 more then the tickets cost to attend both games). Dallas in 2018 was $185 on Stubhub and NFL Tickets 30 minutes before the game. Plus, in the off chance you got tickets for less then face value, Stubhub and Ticketmaster will hit you with their $50 a ticket ticket fees. I've also got to go on the field to hold up the American flag, go to training camp in a special area with unlimited food and I got to meet Julius Peppers in his last season. PSLs are meant for people with enough disposable income that they would rather pay a little more most games to not have to go through the trouble of saving $20.
-
it did, but the stadium in East Rutherford didn't open until 2010 (The pickles era first game was the first real game in that stadium). PSLs were literally introduced as nothing but a way to FUND BOA because Richardson said he didn't want to ask the city for funding. It was one of the primary reasons Carolina got the team. When the rest of the NFL saw how popular the idea was, it caught on like wildfire.
-
None. The closest thing we have is the Falcons move from the Georgia dome to the Mercades Benz. They asked longtime ticket holders to rebuy their seats as PSLs on 10 year payment plans. Someone who had 50 yard line seats for 20 years was asked to sign a 10-year note for$50,000 to retain similar seats at the new stadium. Nothing happened since those old customers did not have PSLS.
-
If the Panthers had a 95 year old couple pass away and not have anybody in their will to receive their 50 yard line seats, they are currently asking $25,000 a psl for the seats (Which you could not buy as of today.) That's actually not the worst, I think either the Seahawks or Cowboys sold PSLs on the 50 yard line for $100k at one point.
-
Maybe it's just me, but I am not convinced they will be 100% worthless when they build a new stadium. What I think is going to end up happening is they will give old PSLs owners (oldest to newest) the first right at PSLs. I think there will be a certain number of seats in the upper deck (Other then the premium ones in the 1st 14 rows) that anyone who had PSLs at BOA will be able to transfer to at $0 cost. The catch is going to be if you bought PSLs on the 50 yard line at BOA in 1993 or 1994 for as low as $2,000, they will subtract that and you will be expected to pay $25,000-$2,000 or switch to less valuable seats. While someone who bought the PSLs TODAY for $25,000 (If the Panthers somehow in a blue moon get access to those seats to resell) would have to pay $0 because they've paid $25,000 into the system. Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I just don't see any feasible way you can tell 33,000 psl owners "you're SOL" when you already have a problem with opposing fans taking over your stadium. Nobody knows how this will be handled, the only team that tried to screw over PSL owners (the STL rams) lost in court due to language in the contracts. We were the 1st team in 1993 to adopt PSLs, no other team has sold PSLs and built a new stadium yet, so there is no prescient yet. Richardson's Panthers had adds for the PSLs on Panthers.com until Tepper bought the team that clearly stated "A lifetime of PANTHERS NFL football" not "A lifetime of PANTHERS NFL FOOTBALL AT BANK OF AMERICA STADIUM." The contract clearly states that it's only for BOA, but I'd say there is a legit case for misleading the customer.
