  1. reading this thread is funny - the "im tired of reading the talk, show me" takes are nonsense. Its the combine/off season - what do you expect them to do? not say anything? so funny to me. If youre tired of the talk, dont read up on the talk haha
  2. Forman got 3mil let from the bears right? So, not exactly 6x
  3. Perfectly logical and expected feelings. Anyone upset by his comments is a weirdo honestly.
  4. Inviting another grown man to your dick is suspect. So is wanting your team to lose on purpose. You have issues
  5. Lets trade away a great DE to get picks 2 years from now, that might take a other 2 years to develop after that, and just hope for the best. Seems logical.
  6. The defense giving up 30+ points and PJ's pick 6 were more so the reasons for the loss, but go ahead and blame the kicker. Kickers will miss. it happens.
  7. Oh, and thank you for proving my point that… a. I didn’t use the word “fleece” however… b. When most people are saying the niners gave up too much, that is in essence the exact same thing as saying “the niners got fleeced” and most definitely…. c. No one is saying the panthers got the raw end of this trade anywhere except this forum.
  8. He’s worth what an actual NFL team is willing to give up for him - NOT what some random user on a panthers forum *thinks* he’s worth. what we got was the best anyone was willing to give for him. So, um, yeah.
  9. oh ok. Because “catsfan69” said so.
  10. If CMC was as prolific a player as some of you are making him out to be, teams would have given up that first for him. choosing to ignore the fact that not one single team felt him worthy of a first round pick is telling of some of your over inflation of this man. He’s a GREAT player. But spoiler - we SUCKED with him. He didn’t change anything here. And no one saw enough in him to give up what some of you think he was worth. Im sure he’ll likely do better in the SF system but at the end of the day, the niners aren’t the Bills. They aren’t locks to be top dawg in the NFC even with CMC and they just traded away 75% of their draft and took on a big cap hit for it.
  11. I literally never actually post here - just read. But this is a post worth making. Some of you have some wild thoughts on this - “either gets a 1st for him or don’t trade him” …. What? There’s a reason literally NO ONE would give a first for him. Think about that. Beyond that, what good is keeping him when we aren’t winning with him and haven’t been? On top of eating his crazy contract? Some of you are so completely beyond the scope of reality thinking a RB at the tail end of his prime, who’s missed damn near half his career would get anything close to a first round pick. Are 49ers fans happy? I bet. They got a shiny new toy. And they probably think this will put them over the hump. I doubt it will. Go to the Saints Report forums. Go to the Falcons forums. The Seahawks forums. The Falcons forums. Hell - any forum (including Twitter) with a thread about this trade and literally everyone thinks SF gave up way too much for CMC. This place is the only place where people feel the Panthers got the raw end of this trade. we weren’t going to win with him and now we at least got a nice chunk of draft capital for a rebuild process and opened up a good amount of cap space. This was an AMAZING trade for the Panthers in their current situation, and if CMC helps SF, then good for them too. Obviously I want SF to lose as much as possible for draft position.
