  1. Remember how we all wanted Siefert and how that worked out for us
  2. if it's true that Harbaugh wanted 20m/year, a new GM, and full control? I'm fine with Tepper walking away from that. Wilks has proven he can coach this team and the players will work hard for him. Other than not going for it on 4th and inches, fans really don't have much to honestly complain about what Wilks has been able to accomplish in the short tenure he's been in the role
  3. Alrighty, killed two deaths in Mad Forest using Divano and obtaining Infinite Corridor. Almost had Death killed in the Library using the Runetracer/Level 2 "trick", but couldn't get the timing quite right. Yeah, it's very slot-machiney. Gotta keep earning those achievements.
  4. Was able to evolve the Crimson Shroud at about the 25m mark in the Library Currently sitting at minute 116 waiting for one of the spawned Red Deaths to finally die and bring along the White Death. Of course, it's probably 6 million hit points per Red Death, so we may be here a while while we wait for Santa Water, Whip, Axe, and Runetracer to do their things.
  5. if it wasn't for wiki guides, I'd have no idea how to achieve any of the item unlocks at all. Agree that Santa Water and King Bible are very helpful to evolve. Just got the Yellow Sign, so trying to figure out how to grab the rings and laurel in a timely manner while still leveling everything up to survive. I *think* the "run away!" strategy can work for this particular activity. will figure that out later this week, I hope.
  6. Is that two bad ball handles by Sam today? those arent wilks’ fault
  7. Saw this game pop up on various "Best Of" gaming lists. It's a mashup of a rogue-like and tower-defense game. Starts out relatively benign, but then you may find yourself playing for 45m at a time, killing vampires with autofire.
  8. Of all the bad choices Tepper has made in the past (checks notes) ~38 months, at least we all pretty much agree that cutting Rhule was a step in the right direction. Let's hope he continues making the right moves with the HC decision.
  9. Did you say 2024 in Vegas? Start saving your money for tickets today
  10. And more pie for every Panthers fan who braved the chill to be at the game in person
  11. Shirtless women, on the other hand, were kicked out of the World Cup (but not arrested) according to https://nypost.com/2022/12/20/topless-world-cup-fans-not-arrested-in-qatar-return-home-safely/
  12. Announcers also referred to Robbie Moore earlier, so we should be lucky that got JStews name right
  13. The last few games (heck, most of the season) really show how much work we’ve done improving the O-Line #SignBozeman
  14. It’s fantastic to see Game Ball giveaways again. One thing I super appreciated being a thing during the Cam era. Let’s hope it continues
  15. Recognizing that we have to make a LOT of assumptions that need to happen for this question to be reasonable: would Sam be a reasonable nominee for the NFL Comeback Player of the Year?
  16. Ooooh, one thing of interest to most Huddlers is that streaming (no matter who is doing it) tends to be at bit behind real-time broadcasts. So for those of you who like to actively participate in each week's Game thread, be prepared to find out results of plays in the online chat/Twitter before you actually see the play on the stream.
  17. Confirmed the NFL won't be happy with bars airing YouTube games: The new deal has split the two out, with YouTube currently only having access to the $2 billion residential rights, with the NFL looking for a partner to take on the $200 million-per-year commercial rights
  18. Yup, tons of smaller municipalities are starting their own ISPs for this exact reason. Construction costs are crazy for just a few hundred feet.
  19. For now. As we've talked about over multiple months in (Nerdvana?) that other streaming thread, there are discussions in play for the content providers (Disney, Netflix, Paramount+ etc....) teaming up to offer a single streaming package of all their channels together. Rumored initial price point is $100/month (depending on the participants, of course). This would be separate from your Internet connectivity bill. So you may still be looking at $150-$200/month for your new "cable package". *shrug* Happy to continue the non-NFL-related streaming convo over in that other thread so as not to hijack the topic here.
  20. Still no word on how the new plan will work for commercial establishments. There currently is a limit of three concurrent devices on YouTube streaming accounts, which will likely continue. While Amazon Prime allows for the Thurs games to be viewed in bars, there has not been an announcement for YouTube yet. DirecTV has been negotiating separately to maintain the restaurant/bar piece.
  21. This is key: It's that YouTube Primetime Channels that opens it up to everyone, not just YouTube TV subscribers
  22. We should know more later today (if rumor mills are accurate). One of two scenarios will be in play: 1) Google would make Sunday Ticket available in the Youtube TV plan, but would charge a premium for the out-of-market games (just like DirecTV does), which could be in the $300/season range. YouTube TV currently costs $65/month for the base package. 2) Google could offer Sunday Ticket as a subscription via YouTube =-=- If #2 is in play, then there's no reason to offer #1 *unless* there's a season discount for YouTube TV subscribers vs non-subscribers #1 would be of most benefit to expand the YoutubeTV customer base, but at the risk of annoying potential subscribers who just want to watch their team #2 would offer the widest possible option for subscribers, and therefore more money for the NFL
