Regarding YouTube's expected streaming quality: while the NFL content won't be in 4K (because it's not filmed in 4K, and upscaling is a pain in the butt), YouTube will be streaming in 1080p HD. While both FOX and CBS film in 1080p, but they don't broadcast at that level. FOX broadcasts in 720p, while CBS does 1080i HD.

Streaming will always be behind Broadcast. The question for YouTube is "how much?" Will it be 60s+ behind the updates on the Huddle and Twitter/Bluesky? Or something closer to realtime to not be entirely noticeable?

Not as a temporary change, no. And it sounds like there's a cross-ref between home market/zip/IP address to verify that you are where you say you are. And you have to log in (regularly) from that same combination to keep the connection/setting active.

I wouldn't recommend it, unless you want Charlotte TV full time. Per Google, once you enter your home ZIP that's it. (you can change your home ZIP twice a year... and you have to physically be in the home area to update to a different ZIP)
