  1. If there's somebody around here who knows about cold and ice, it's @Jon Snow no reason to limit to "snow". BLITZIN' BLIZZARD (although a capital L and capital I next to each other makes it read "BUZZARD". Kerning and font choices are important, people)
  2. imagine if Luke did weekly tape review sessions with specific players as part of opponent planning...
  3. $20 at Harrah's Cherokee to pay $200 if the Panthers win the NFC South (as of Aug 28th). Anybody have more up to date figures?
  4. Wishful thinking: how ya going to trade "down" with pick #32?
  5. I initially saw that thread title as "Breaking: Darnold to Jax for CJ Henderson?" , considering the "My god", "I'm dizzy", and QB-related threads surrounding it.
  6. I enjoy the concept of FMIA (or MMQB, take your pick), and I like reading much of Peter King's stuff. But his fanboyz love of certain player/teams leaves a bit to be desired. Do we need 2500+ words on how much New England misses Tom Brady? Probably not. I'm glad he gave us more than a passing reference in this week's column after this headline at the top :
  7. TRUST THE PROCESS if Rhule can pull off a deep run in the playoffs in his 2nd year of a rebuild, it should throw tons of support into the argument that what he did at Temple and Baylor weren't flukes - and Tepper may have gotten the deal/steal of the century with that hire.
  8. it's one reason I'm not a fan of Arthur Blank with the Falcons. I don't want my team owner walking around on the sidelines during a game, or pushing the QB's wheelchair around. Let the team and team management do their jobs during the game, then stick your nose into the post-game locker room to say "good job". No need to micromanage on the field during those 60 minutes. (on the other hand, as team owners go - he did do a pretty okay job with the MB stadium food policies, and atlanta united games are kinda fun. But for his NFL antics? Not a fan at all. It's like he took a cue from Dallas Jerry.)
  9. A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer in the pants sorry, Troy. Ya gotta play the schedule you’re given. And the NFL is pretty open about what the line ups will be year by year. It’s not like it can be easily manipulated to make some paths easier than others.
  10. Switched to the Tony Awards. whatd he say?
  11. It may be a fluke game, or it may not be. Still, today's action makes me feel a whole lot better about those two back to back TB games we have at the end of the season. (I reserve the right to go back to full-on concern 10 games from now)
  12. admittedly, Gronk's commercials are pretty entertaining.
  13. Close, but not quite. You can't do the math on the ranking number, but you have to use the household/population figure. Just adding Charlote+Raleigh would put "Carolina" at 13.5, between Seattle and Minnesota. A bit better than your #15 suggestion
