  1. Good show. Will watch season 2. 10/10
  2. Hulu+Live is raising their price by $5/month. In this case, I'm okay with the price increase as they're adding additional value to those subscribers by including Disney+ and ESPN+ on the subscription (whether you want those services or not) It's certainly better than a price increase for the sake of price increases, without anything better being provided to the consumer
  3. ESPN is definitely in the mix. Disney wants to drive subscriber traffic to ESPN+ (to shore up dropping cable fees from cordcutters) and use Sunday Ticket as an add-on
  4. This week's rumor mill suggests that Sunday Ticket *might* be available for streaming for anyone for a discounted price for the rest of the season. As always, your mileage may vary, but it may be that DirecTV may be trying to cash in before the Sunday Ticket rights go to someone else in the next contract negotiation. Try the tips posed in this news article that explains the situation, and let us know if you're successful: https://www.nexttv.com/news/the-nfl-quietly-takes-sunday-ticket-dtc-and-ott (of course, the article's been updated to suggest that perhaps some mistakes were made... but maybe you'll luck out if you try????)
  5. No lie: if the price was right, I'd probably buy in
  6. Latest rumor: Amazon is looking to pair Al Michaels with Troy Aikman on their Thursday Night package to form a “‘TNF’ dream team,” said sources. https://frontofficesports.com/troy-aikman-amazon-thursday-night-football/
  7. and hopefully it was understood that "it" meant no more penalty calls, not to stop enjoying yourself on the field.
  8. I think we'll all spent $300 (or more) on sillier things that provide us our own piece of happiness.
  9. For only the 6th time, the Green Bay Packers are selling "shares" to the public, at $300 apiece (max of 200 per person, including any previously purchased). Reading deeper into the terms, it says that these are not shares in the traditional, investment sense. Sounds more of a collectors item, suitable for framing. Question: How much would you pay to have a single shareholder vote in the Panthers business, knowing Tepper will maintain a minimum of 51% of outstanding votes as primary owner? (One vote per household, max) https://www.packers.com/news/green-bay-packers-stock-sale-begins-november-16-2021
  10. I interpreted it to be Cam saying that he understood, no need to continue to talk about it. Message received. I did not think it was Cam being disrespectful of Coach.
  11. Yup. They were "we gotta check you for a concussion", and CMC is all "huh, I didnt' get hit on that play, but whatever" All clear just a real nothing burger here.
  12. TAR discussion should be a new thread over in Nerdvana. Oh, I have opinions.
  13. Let's see... Special teams: Kicker Gonzalez Interesting that Joey Slye is listed under Washington, but in a Panthers jersey. LS Jansen P Edwards (albeit in a Chargers jersey?) RS: Erickson (what's with these wrong jerseys?) ST Luvu (he looks happy) Offense QB No entry shown. Boo, I say. BOOOOOOOO RB Hubbard CMC WR DJ Robbie FB None. TE Thomas Tremble Tackle Moton G Daley Jordan (there's that jersey issue again) Scott (JERSEY!) C Elflein Defense DE Burns Fox DT Brown Jones ILB Carter OLB Reddick Shaq CB Gilmore Jackson SS Chandler FS Chinn I think I got everybody. Who's missing from this list in this year's voting? https://www.nfl.com/pro-bowl/ballot
  14. I believe that Cam's injury(s), not-as-phenomenal-as-before seasons, and having sat out a lot of games contributed to the WHY. As to the WHO, well - others have said it already.
  15. Counterpoint to the high cost of obtaining a pure breed dog: consider picking out a rescue instead.
  16. I'm probably going to get this wrong: some of what they spoke about earlier in the program was about how fandom can act as blinders vs actuality. (they were talking about other sports with this commentary) Generally speaking, 2021 Cam is not the same as 2015 Cam. We shouldn't expect 2015 Cam. Give credit to PJ and CMC. Cam only played for 5 snaps. To me, it didn't sound anti-Cam, but trying to take a step back and be realistic about what the upcoming games and current situation is all about. Again - I'm probably wrong with these bullets.
  17. From the Cinnamon and Sugar podcast (if the video didn't advance there, the talk starts at about the :50 mark)
  18. tonight's Manningcast is supposed to have Al Michaels in the first quarter.
  19. if the Panthers do trade for an established starter, it would leave them without first-round, second-round and fourth-round picks in 2022. That would mean Carolina would have one pick in (approximately) the top 150 of next year’s draft, and that pick would be midway through the third round, about 80th overall.
  20. Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling... He did write a bunch about our QB situation and the $$ involved. Nothing we haven't already rehashed here, but it's more in-depth if you're interested.
